Don't get me wrong, I know it's natural that we are all going to be very interested in each others'  personal well-being, and that venting frustrations is a natural part of that.

Let's make sure though that we not let these things make us lose focus on our mission!  :)

Your current avatar reminds me of a book I read a few years ago called "Tank" -- a cultural history of the tank. The author made a good point about the pic, which I have always found very moving, which is that some credit also goes to the invisible guys in that first tank.

it's a tribute to the chinese people that on both sides of that confrontation there were caring and sane people, unlike a similar situation in Rafah involving a young American trying to stop a home demolition...
