Judge Hellerstein Makes Excuses for Flimsy Evidence of Hijackings
"In the Ambrose case, Judge Hellerstein ruled that the jury would not be allowed to see photographs of at least one of the hijackers and Dr. Ambrose separately passing through a security checkpoint at Dulles International Airport, where the flight originated.
Judge Hellerstein also said he found a wide array of other evidence inadmissible, including the testimony of people who received phone calls from loved ones aboard Flight 77 before it crashed; the testimony of a burn victim inside the Pentagon; testimony from a victim’s daughter about a note from the victim to her husband that was found at the crash site; and photographs of body parts."
Don't want these things in the public record, eh, Judge Silver--er... Hellerstein??

whats the backround on this guy? where did he get his start? what are his personal connections? etc. i know a bit about him but not enough and would appreciate some links on the guy if anybody has any.

true enough, but i always like to see what peoples personal connections and backrounds are as they speak pretty loudly as well. im pretty wary of Wikipedia now, have you seen Philip Zelikow's profile lately? lets just say its not as obvious as before that hes a ringer. somebody cleaned up his profile and made it less blatant.

wikipedia is what we're SUPPOSED to believe. that's helpful to know as a starting point. I think info on Hellerstein can be found on the "rabid anti-Zionist" sites like Daryl Bradford Smith's iamthewitness and Eric Hufschmid's site (and I suppose Christopher Bollyn's too) but there one should also tread with caution--usually it's a matter not of figuring out what is true in all of these things, but what is false or misleading, or what agenda might be served by having the info available from certain types of sources like Hufschmid and Smith, let alone any number of other even more unsavory groups' sites. I think with Hellerstein it's obvious enough that he was given all the 9/11 cases--his background might just confirm what we can probably all correctly conclude based on his clear role in the cover-up.

Was that Daryl Smith guy the individual on the Phil Donahue show with David Cole? If so, I felt he carried himself professionally and logically at least on that segment especially considering that he was being attacked. I personally haven't had much of a chance to assess these three characters. Usually, for me, it's easy enough to get an idea of how they work by reading their writing or hearing them speak (ie: do they use poor logic or do they use propaganda techniques.).
