NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- A federal trial will be held in the summer over the death of Mark Bavis on Sept. 11, 2001, a judge ordered Wednesday, setting a consolidated timeline in the wrongful-death suit Bavis's family brought.

President Obama opened his India visit today by paying tribute to the nation's heroism in the face of the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

Drawing parallels to 9/11, Obama said "the United States and India are working together more closely than ever to keep our people safe," and "will never waver" in the defense of democratic values.

"We will never forget," he said.

One of the things that the BuildingWhat campaign shows that the truth movement could do is to apply more energy and effort to producing advocacy materials (propaganda, if you wish) that appeals to the mainstream. It would advance our cause immensely if we began to elevate the 9/11 truth discourse out of the rut of the current style of advocacy. Look at the way that different products are sold to people--beer commercials don't necessarily talk about how delicious or intoxicating their product is, they instead often simply try to establish a tone that they hope will resonate with people.

William Blum has finally taken a stand on 9/11 Truth after years of avoiding the issue. He agrees on the one hand that "the buildings in New York collapsed essentially because of a controlled demolition, which employed explosives as well as certain incendiary substances found in the rubble", but then almost in the same breath he puts himself firmly in the LIHOP camp and asserts that it is not reasonable believe that "the government planned it all down to the last detail".

I'd like to think she's just confused, and also now unfortunately under the spell of Jon "Rasputin" Gold.  Funny how he's glommed onto someone who like Roseanne has called Israel a "Nazi state", and who seems to do what Jon Gold just hates, which is to misrepresent theories as facts.  Oh well.  It's clear from the comments that people are hoping to get her to see that LIHOP is limited hangout--they'll soon realize, I fear, that she'll be having none of that.  The LIHOP brigade marches on--all the regular LIHOPpers are swarming her blog...  

The following is a recent exchange at 911blogger. Note how quickly the shills backtrack. They announce with great fanfare that AA77 skeptics are oblivious to evidence like bodies of passengers still in their seats. Then they provide a pic from the Moussaoui trial showing what is either a gory dummy or a real (albeit fake looking) body of a person with nary an airplane seat in sight. Hey, shills!
