9/11 Truther to Speak at Stanford Law [Stephen Spruiell]
From Stanford Law School, former NR associate editor Anthony Dick sends word that a group has invited a 9/11 truther to speak this afternoon:
The Civil Rights Civil Liberties Society has invited Sander Hicks to speak at the law school today, billing him as "a multimedia political activist committed to the preservation of civil liberties and civil rights for all Americans."
In fact, Mr. Hicks is a 9/11 conspiracy theorist committed to the proposition that the terrorist attacks of 9/11 were orchestrated by the United States government, which is now murdering its citizens to cover up the truth. In his own words:
"The 9/11 commission was a coverup. . . . 9/11 was the product of a conspiracy — specifically a conspiracy between the CIA, Pakistani intelligence, and the so-called al-Qaeda organization, which is really most likely just a product of Pakistani intelligence and CIA intelligence."
Mr. Hicks is now touring the country speaking about "The FBI murder of Dr. David Graham," a fellow 9/11 conspiracy theorist who died in 2004.
Tomorrow's appearance at SLS will be the latest installment in Mr. Hicks's deranged slander campaign, which insults the men and women of the United States government and trivializes the tragedy of September 11th. It is utterly disgraceful to give this man a platform to speak at Stanford Law School.

Is read the "Graham Report" that Hicks has provided as evidence.
The story is absurd and a reading of 'The Graham Reprot' would lead any sensible person to the same conclusion...atleast internally.
Hicks is smart & sensible so...that leaves us with only a few other possibilities...

Hicks is a limited LIHOP disinformation specialist.
Look up "Delmart Vreeland" to see where this David Graham garbage will eventually lead us. Not to mention that the guy is the token '911 truther' over at GNN.TV and, unlike other 911 Truthers, gets nothing but praise from the wannabe Pundit Anthony Lappe' and his toolbag sidekick, Stephen Marshall.
If you doubt what I say...just read "The Graham Report" that Hicks has on his website. Unless he's changed it since I disected for him and others...and showed what a crock of shit it was, only a brief review will lead you to the same conclusion.
Then there was his statements back on 2006 anniversary where he talked about the controlled demolition of the wtc complex being a distraction to 911 Truth.

but why
does he elicit cheers from GeorgeWashington, Carol Brouillet, Orangutan, and Victronix? And what about JohnA? He's written a patriotic piece which "is an appeal to decency and our heritage. Please join us in continuing to demand the truth behind 9/11." Please help Gretavo, I'm so confused.

I heard Carol B for the first time on "No Lies Radio" the other night. although well-spoken and apparently well-informed, she was giggling...she was having so much fun talking about 9/11. that always gets me...when i see or hear 9/11 truther activists having a good time, smiling, laughing "on the job".
I know Carol B and I trust her
She is one of my heros in the movement for having been out on the streets since early 2002 raising awareness of 9/11 truth. She's one of the hardest working and dedicated activists I've ever met and her heart is in the right place.
She's a good example of how different people's minds work differently. For example, she knew right away that 9/11 was an inside job for reasons that you could describe as mostly intuition. The facts she learned over time merely confirmed her initial suspicion. She's not someone who is technical minded. Controlled demolition evidence, for example, is not as impressive or critical to her as it is to other people. She is more of a "big tent" type, who doesn't like to exclude people unless the person is really disruptive. But she doesn't exclude people based on arguments or views.
I didn't listen to the radio show, but I suspect that her having fun and being giggly was just part of her positive and warm gregarious personality type. She is a very nice and warm person who likes to be able to connect with everyone.

and agree with what you've said, but she is also one whose big tent has Bush, Cheney, and Rummy manning the three rings of the circus. Peculiar for one who has been digging so deep for so long.
