Sir Paul McCartney spends £1.5 million on security for Israel concert

Would the assassination of another Liverpool moptop be enough to kick off WWWIII? The only ones with the resources necessary to pull something like that off are the Alqaediranians, right?

A real peacenik of work, that Paul.

Sir Paul has even extended his security measures to his accommodation at Tel Aviv's five star Dan Hotel where he has hired three floors at a cost of around £70,000 Photo: GETTY

Sir Paul McCartney has spent £1.5 million on a 5,000-strong army of security guards ahead of his concert in Israel on Thursday night.

Gore urges civil disobedience to stop...

... coal plants?

"If you're a young person looking at the future of this planet and looking at what is being done right now, and not done, I believe we have reached the stage where it is time for civil disobedience to prevent ___________________________."

How many items can we think of to fill in the blank above that are just a wee bit more important than coal plants at the moment.

Still, it's interesting that the former VP is encouraging civil disobedience for anything at all. What's he trying to do? Fill vacancies in all those private prisons being built by his NWO buddies? There has to be a connection with his potential to profit from carbon credits somewhere in this call for civil disobedience.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Nobel Peace Prize winner and environmental crusader Al Gore urged young people on Wednesday to engage in civil disobedience to stop the construction of coal plants without the ability to store carbon.

Has Sarah Palin Been Picked as the Titular Head of the Coming Police State?

By Naomi Wolf, Huffington Post
Posted on September 24, 2008, Printed on September 24, 2008

http://www.alternet.org/story/100069/

Please understand what you are looking at when you look at Sarah "Evita" Palin. You are looking at the designated muse of the coming American police state.

You have to understand how things work in a closing society in order to understand "Palin Power." A gang or cabal seizes power, usually with an affable, weak figurehead at the fore. Then they will hold elections -- but they will make sure that the election will be corrupted and that the next affable, weak figurehead is entirely in their control. Remember, Russia has Presidents; Russia holds elections. Dictators and gangs of thugs all over the world hold elections. It means nothing. When a cabal has seized power you can have elections and even presidents, but you don't have freedom.

The Paulson Bail-Out Plan is Mortgage Fraud on Historic Scale?

Politics / Credit Crisis Bailouts
Sep 23, 2008 - 03:48 PM
By: Richard_C_Cook

The $750 billion banking system bailout proposed by Secretary of the Treasury Henry M. Paulson met with a cool reception on Capitol Hill this morning at a hearing of the Senate Banking Committee. Nevertheless, a bill is likely to pass both houses of Congress within the next couple of weeks. As Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) said, it's “a necessary evil.” But is it also an example of “mortgage fraud” on a historic scale?

Real Truther Welcomes Back Harvard Students

RT has been doing his usual lunchtime one-man truth show since the arrival of students for the new academic year and has already had several good encounters with students, who usually begin by asking him "So what's the truth about 9/11?"

The students who talk to RT represent a wide range from the morbidly curious to the skeptical, to those who don't stop any longer than it takes to give RT a high five or shake his hand and thank him for being out there.
