Real Truther Welcomes Back Harvard Students

RT has been doing his usual lunchtime one-man truth show since the arrival of students for the new academic year and has already had several good encounters with students, who usually begin by asking him "So what's the truth about 9/11?"

The students who talk to RT represent a wide range from the morbidly curious to the skeptical, to those who don't stop any longer than it takes to give RT a high five or shake his hand and thank him for being out there.

Today one of the more skeptical students to his credit took an A&E card AND asked RT where he could find the official reports. I think he was mildly surprised at how knowledgeable and willing RT was when he immediately said "Sure, go to wtc.nist.gov and check it out." Maybe he thought RT would try to discourage him from looking at the official reports for himself. He seemed like one of those people who, again, to their credit, want to actually confirm for themselves whatever they believe to be the truth. We can only hope that his mind is at least 30% open, as DRG would say!

A young lady who overheard RT talking to that guy then approached with the magic question. After some discussion of the buildings and the nature of RT's own skepticism she seemed relieved and told RT "I wanted to talk to you because I overheard you and you weren't just saying '9/11 was an inside job!'" RT couldn't help but think of Alex Jones, Mark Dice and Loose Change Boyz walking around chanting "9/11 was an inside job!" over and over again, and how much they have done to innoculate people against the truth through sheer obnoxiousness.

Real Truthers are always polite and don't treat people like "zombies" to be awoken. Real Truthers use measured words and avoid hyperbole. They do not get in people's faces or yell at them. RT knows this approach works because people often tell him that one of their friends suggested they talk to him. RT is getting people talking about 9/11 at Harvard. The chances are good that any given person at Harvard is aware of "9/11 guy" at this point, and pretty soon that will translate into a critical mass of people here being aware of "9/11 truth" and the need to have an informed opinion on it in order not to look (god forbid) stupid in front of their peers.

The truth cannot be stopped, only perhaps delayed, and not for much longer.
