I think Bollyn has done important contributions to the truth movement as a journalist. He is not perfect however and I often find his opinions and analysis to be reaching. He has done what he could to disassociate himself from Hufschmidt who seems to have a real hidden agenda to smear the truth movement.

I agree with you that Bollyn is sometimes loose with attributing conspiracies to Jews which is inappropriate.

While this site has occasionally shown some of Bollyn's material when they did offer good ideas it has been very critical of him as well. There was a time when Bollyn was regarded as nothing more than a disinfo person at this site.

anti-Jewish (will refrain from "Jew-hater"). i seem to recall interviews where he spoke about his having lived in Israel for a while and even having been married to an Israeli..whatev. I do think he harbors anger...being tasered and assaulted infront of his family and then brought before a pro-zionist judge did not help.

his research has been valuable. and if he does seem to digress into tracing Jewish lineage, and if that digression is to prove that some of these folks are not really who they purport to be but are Christian Zionists or Jewish Zionists/dual citizens, and place the security of Israel above the nations in which they serve and hold key positions...well then, thank you, Christopher! 

personally, i have many Jewish friends for whom i have high regard. the subject of 9/11 has been difficult, but we're working it through, slowly, delicately. I fear for them in that less they call it themselves, there will be a severe backlash.

Here's something I puleld from the link Petros provided.  A few issues--is 911review suggesting that the first three stories mentioned are inaccurate?  It seems like it.  Also, 911review is in the minority when it comes to what actually happened at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.  That they cite Bollyn's "mainstream truther" positions as "proof of his promotion of hoaxes" is pretty funny and says more, I think, about whoever is behind 911review...

Christopher Bollyn, writing for the American Free Press, was the source of numerous original stories on the 9/11 coverup. Bollyn -- whose prolific work suggests he is a hard-working reporter -- was the apparent source of numerous stories including:

• That Zim Shipping Company broke its lease to move out of the World Trade Center just one week before the attack.
• That Benjamin Chertoff, author of the Popular Mechanics attack piece is the cousin of Michael Chertoff, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
• That Mossad infiltrated computer networks in the US using the start-up company known as Ptech.

Apparently because of his original reporting, Bollyn's work has been widely cited and copied. Unfortunately, this is also true of a number of hoaxes that Bollyn has promoted -- perhaps unknowingly.

• Bollyn wrote an article misconstruing the seismic data from the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, seeding the basement bombs theory.
• Bollyn wrote an article misinterpreting WTC 2's rising dust cloud as an explosion in Building 6, starting a hoax that would be exploited by In Plane Site.
• Bollyn has been one of the principal proponents of the Pentagon no-jetliner theory.
• Bollyn apparently originated the theory that crash of Flight 93 in PA was faked.
