yes gretavo. i have been saying this all along. it is so good to hear others speak this way.
we have to be willing to look at our "own", whether they be Christians, Jews, Muslims...ditto for our nation-state allegiances...even our own family extensions. where did i read this? (perhaps The Path not Taken):
there are basically two types of mindsets/consciences: the first blames all bad that befalls him/her on others, and reacts accordingly, out of a sense of persecution and victimhood; the other tends to blame all bad that befalls him/her on himself, and reacts accordingly. Both are so lacking. Somewhere there has to be a balance. The ability to interact with life and reality both subjectively and objectively.
