Welcome to the discussion board of the WTC Demolition site. This is a moderated forum for inquiry into the events of September 11, 2001. If this is your first visit, please read our Introduction and Statement of Principles. Content here is updated occasionally--in the event that content seems unchanged for an excessive period, try hitting "reload" or "refresh" on your browser. At any given time a series of posts that we consider particularly relevant will be fixed to the top of the list of posts. To see the most recent posts, scroll past those that are shaded light blue, or refer to the list of recent blog posts in the left hand column.

For all its problems with the insincere among its ranks, the real truth movement is the one peopled by the vast, honest majority who believe the events of 9/11 must be subjected to the closest scrutiny possible if we are to learn from this dark chapter in world history. This site is for every real "truther" out there.

"If telling the truth marginalizes you, then that is the place to be. After all, if enough people are willing to be marginalized, then before you know it, society has developed a different center. This is the politics of truth."

E. Martin Schotz

"I've had enough of someone else's propaganda... I'm for truth, no matter who tells it. I'm for justice, no matter who it is for or against. I'm a human being first and foremost, and as such I'm for whoever and whatever benefits humanity as a whole."

Malcolm X

"I am a passionate seeker after Truth and a not less passionate enemy of the malignant fictions used by the "Party of Order", the official representatives of all turpitudes, religious, metaphysical, political, judicial, economic, and social, present and past, to brutalise and enslave the world; I am a fanatical lover of Liberty; considering it as the only medium in which can develop intelligence, dignity, and the happiness of man..."

Mikhail Bakunin

"Tell all the Truth but tell it slant-/Success in Circuit lies/Too bright for our infirm Delight/The Truth's superb surprise/As Lightning to the Children eased/With explanation kind/The Truth must dazzle gradually/Or every man be blind-"

Emily Dickinson

The Bad Cop to the Fake Left's Good Cop

Suppose you're a young arab or muslim student at a university. You desperately want friends, and to be like everyone else. You see conservative groups citing articles such as that below. You seek solace with the liberals on campus, who tell you how wonderful your religion and background is, if only it weren't dominated by the types of people the conservatives are using to make you look bad. How do you react, assuming you don't want to be ostracized, and you want to eventually be rewarded for all your hard work at school with a decent job? Take a guess...

Ignorance and Intolerance - Not Just For Straight People Anymore!

Here is the result of some recent trolling for awareness on a locally trafficked GBLT site (as a response to a scaremongering post about hate groups in Massachusetts.) You might think that the GBLT community is a bastion of open mindedness. It may well be in many ways, but sadly not when it comes to defending the victims of their own ignorance and apathy. Let this be a warning to those who would hold up a mirror before a similarly self-obsessed group of individuals--intolerance is equal opportunity these days--you've come a long way, baby, indeed...

The truth can be an ugly thing
A March Surprise
By Bob Parks Thursday, March 27, 2008

Upon reaching what many refer to as a “milestone” when the United States military reached the 4,000 combat death number, the anti-war left continues to repeat their mantra that this is a war fought over oil and that al Qaeda had no terror ties to Iraq, thus Iraq had no ties to the 9/11 attacks.

Bush lied, people died.

I am shocked--SHOCKED! They had some kind of maintenance thing going on last night and today, while leaving some truthy comments on Obama Girl's latest, I noticed a parade of Citibank Visa cards rolling along the bottom of the screen. Blechh.

By ANEMONA HARTOCOLLIS
Published: March 27, 2008

Larry A. Silverstein, who has won nearly $4.6 billion in insurance payments to cover his losses and help him rebuild at the World Trade Center site, is seeking $12.3 billion in damages from airlines and airport security companies for the 9/11 attack.

Somehow I wish I'd never seen the VIDEO showing the collapse of World Trade Center building 7 (WTC7) in March 2006 because I haven't stopped thinking about it ever since.

Paul Craig Roberts Pimps the Shill Game on 9/11 Denier Alex Cockburn's Fake Left Counterpunch

Sorry Paul, but you just spent your remaining credibility capital.  I was willing to forgive his inexplicable association with Counterpunch given his excellent writing, but the following is so far off the mark that it seems that PCR, like so many before him, has had a built-in timer waiting to go off as soon as he accumulated enough credibility among real truthers.

The American Way - Socialize the Costs, Privatize the Wealth!

Feeling their pain, really... how is this like the war on terror?  Anyone?

Some New York-area residents are becoming more cautious with their spending decisions.

Last month, Shai Shustik, a broker with Manhattan Residential, was helping a 27-year-old client find a $700,000 one-bedroom apartment on the East Side of Manhattan. But then the client suddenly put her search on hold. Her father, a banker, said he had lost too much money in the stock market to buy such an apartment for her.

What's the Word For This Again?

The tactic: Condemn someone for something they say that in fact is mistaken, because you know the truth is much worse than that implied by the comments you call inflammatory. This makes any suggestion of the actual truth seem like something BEYOND inflammatory. Hmmm...

US Deaths in Iraq Approach 4,000
http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080322/D8VIP3NO0.html

U.S. officials have pointed to a number of positive signs, including a 60 percent drop in violence since Bush ordered 30,000 U.S. reinforcements to Iraq early last year. Iraqis have also made some limited progress in power-sharing deals among rival Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish communities.

However, U.S. military commanders have been careful to point out that security gains are fragile and that major violence could erupt abruptly.
