Political scientist discusses anti-Semitism as roots of 9/11
NICOLE DIFASI - Staff Writer

Political scientist and author Matthias Küntzel gave a lecture on Tuesday in the Center for Tomorrow, discussing his beliefs that the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks were caused, at least in part, by the strong anti-Semitism in the Middle East.

The lecture, "Jihad and Jew-Hatred: Islamism, Nazism, and the Roots of 9/11," was presented by the Scholars for Peace in the Middle East organization. The author's book, "Jihadist Terrorism and anti-Semitism: The Mission against Modernity," won the London Book Festival Prize.

Ongoing warfare in the Middle East coupled with anti-Semitism, which Küntzel defined as the policies, views, or actions that harm or discriminate against Jews, were the main roots for the attack on 9/11, the author stated.

"It is not about Islam as a faith but about certain groups who misuse Islam for malicious purposes," Küntzel said.

According to an article by Küntzel published in The Weekly Standard in 2007, the idea of using suicide pilots to obliterate the skyscrapers of Manhattan originated in Berlin in the 1940s due to the fact that Hitler considered the US a Jewish state.

The outcome of this mindset bled into present time where genocidal thoughts were turned into genocidal actions on 9/11.

"It is very difficult to get along with an enemy who wants to sacrifice their own civilian population," Küntzel said.

ssed that the birth of radical Islam between the years 1928 and 1937, as well as the strong Nazi influence that followed, played a significant role in anti-Semitism.

The strongly conservative religious views of the group caused a rebellion in Palestine in which modernity was resisted and Jews were to blame. The new Jewish immigrants' aspects of life, such as equality for women, were seen as threatening. Nazi Germany financially supported the Islamic movement.

"Early Islamic Jew hatred had become radicalized," Küntzel said. "Early on everything Jewish was considered evil but now everything evil was considered Jewish."

An excerpt from a sermon aired on Palestinian television in May 2005, along with many more examples of hatred for Jews available on the Internet, depict the impact of anti-Semitism.

The sermon claimed that Jews are a virus resembling AIDS, that they are behind the suffering of the nations, and that they provoked Nazism, according to Küntzel.

The Islamic Jew hatred and anti-Semitic propaganda was even being passed on to children. Suicide bombings started as early as the 1980s. Children were given little plastic keys to "paradise" and then sent to run across bomb mines.

"Killing children extinguished basic human instincts," Küntzel said. "To use human beings as bombs proved that the hatred of Jews was stronger than the fear of death."

Lecture at the “Center for Tomorrow’s Bullshit”

Right off the bat this guy Küntzel shows his complete ignorance of the Middle East by claiming the Arab world is “anti-Semitic.” Hey Dr. Dildo, the Arabs are a Semitic people. The descendants of the Amorites, Assyrians, and Akkadians of Iraq are also Semitic peoples. The Persians however are not, but that is getting OT. There is most definitely a serious problem of anti-Semitism in the Middle East however, and it is emanating from folks who are collectively operating under a complete delusion of ethnic identity. The European and American Ashkenazim colonizers and brutalizers of Palestine think that they are somehow related to the Israelite tribes of the 1st millennium BCE because their Turkic/Caucasian ancestors 1270 years ago converted to Judaism in southern Russia. Israel is thus a modern state, pretending to be a “Jewish State,” and controlled by non-Semitic, atheistic, Arab-hating anti-Semites. These people have as much right to Palestine as Sammy Davis Jr. who converted to Judaism in 1967.

Küntzel further reveals his complete ignorance of Middle Eastern and Islamic history by saying:

“Early Islamic Jew hatred had become radicalized.... Early on everything Jewish was considered evil but now everything evil was considered Jewish.”

He, of course, forgot to mention when the renowned Saladin offered the shelter of Jerusalem to Jews fleeing the pogroms of the Christian crusaders, or when a later Muslim Caliph offered refuge in Palestine to Jews fleeing the Spanish Inquisition. Also, be sure not to mention the cooperative and productive community of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian scholars in the medieval Spain of Granada and Toledo. Bullshit artists like Küntzel and his buddy Kristol, et al. always leave out all the inconvenient parts of the story, the parts which might ruin their own consciously falsified narration of history.

I love this guy’s subtitle on his book: “The Mission Against Modernity”

I think I will borrow it for my new book:

“Gush Emunim Settler Theology in the West Bank: The Mission Against Modernity”

Yeah, these “modern,” “post-Enlightenment” Zionist settlers in the Occupied West Bank think that an imaginary Canaanite god gave them the Middle East and that this “God” told them to wipe out the demon tribe of Amalek whom they now identify as the Arab people. No joke, I hear that right near the Temple Mount there is a school where all the intricacies of ancient Israelite animal sacrifice to YHWH are being studied, so that when these Zionazis finally blow up the Dome of the Rock and rebuild the big YHWH temple there (the Third Temple, “Lucky Three,” a Silverstein Properties project), the Cohen priesthood will already be prepared and know how to begin the proper execution of the daily animal sacrifices program. McYahweh’s – Over Six Billion Served. And remember, YHWH likes his barbeque really burnt. Overcooking the meat is encouraged. I thought they had modern schools and such in Israel. “The Mission Against Modernity,” LMFAO. Those who live in glass houses..., as the saying goes. These are people in need of serious psychological help. Where are all the Jewish psychiatrists when you really need them? “Physician heal thyself.”

"It is not about Islam as a faith but about certain groups who misuse Islam for malicious purposes," Küntzel said.

"It is not about Judaism as a faith but about certain groups who misuse Judaism for malicious purposes," Toth replied.

What a sick society, where people like Küntzel, in league with people who work for mass genocide and profit from it, are allowed to make their livings by working as professional liars.

Why do so many anti-hate organizations seem to be helping to frame arab muslims? (rhetorical, yes...)

Oh for f*ck's sake

Check out the way they quote Bollyn (not my favorite guy, as most people know, but that's entirely beside the point)

The government, Bollyn added, sold the World Trade Center to "a [Jewish] strip club owner and he then insured the buildings quickly for $3 billion and now he wants $7 billion. ... So for $100 million in borrowed money he gets $3 billion."

The brackets around "Jewish" suggest that Bollyn used a different word or possibly no word at all. I think it's likely that he used the word "Zionist" based on other material of his, and the guy *tries* to make a distinction between the two categories most of the time. But why bother when SPLC writers are going to cram another word in his mouth anyway? That is full-on sleazy.

It's so frustrating to read

It's so frustrating to read such blatant propaganda. Rather than including entire quotes to give proper context to each individual they snag segments and create their own context around those segments. It's absolutely sickening.
