ps "hits" counts every single request for anything from a website, like all the pics on a page are one hit each.  the important numbers are unique visits (different computers) and total visits (meaning people tend to come back...)

i have a proposal for those with special admin powers. take a look at 'top referrers.' yep, 18 hits from two silly craigslist postings in less than 24 hours. granted, face to face is still the way to go, but this seems to be working as far as getting unique visitors to take a look. so if you've got a minute, go ahead and post a link in your hometown craigslist politics section and see what happens. hmmm, portland, boston, sf bay area, north carolina, detroit, montreal, ny/nj, all of you across the seas (although i don't think cl is too popular outside north america), etc. if i have a moment left, i'd like to thank ybbs for increasing traffic here since day one. adios, compadres.
