I received the following e-mail from a good friend and anti- Drug War activist. Now before you think, "Oh, come on Adam! Don't you know your 9/11 stuff better than this?" my main reason for posting this is that my friend is definitely on board with 9/11 truth, but seems to think that the military should have been on the scene immediately, including on the ground at the WTC. His friend emphasized the city/state sovereignty issue.

So there's RT, nursing his Brooklyn Lager like the good barfly he is, looking up at the TV as they show footage of the antiwar protests in DC today when, out of nowhere, Jon Gold appears on the screen. Apparently he was in front of the White House, on the ground with some other protesters. As soon as the cops and CBS cameraman converged on him he leapt up to be handcuffed by DC's finest.

Judge: $575M settlement rejected for 9/11 'heroes'

NEW YORK -- A federal judge rejected a multimillion dollar settlement for people sickened by ash and dust from the World Trade Center, saying the deal to compensate 10,000 police officers, firefighters and other laborers didn't contain enough money.

U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein on Friday rejected a legal settlement that would have given at least $575 million to the victims, saying the deal shortchanged ground zero workers whom he called heroes.

What is so hard about saying "those buildings were clearly blown up!"? Cindy Sheehan is either not very smart, not very brave, or not very honest. PERIOD. The truth movement does not need to associate itself with her--what can it possibly gain from joining with someone who only blandly expresses support for our cause and that only because as she acknowledges we are more numerous than the antiwar crowd now? She had her chance--they all had their chance. They all rejected us and continue to reject us. Let them prove themselves to us--we have NOTHING left to prove to them.

I find some of the rhetoric here overblown, but a good example of the kind of backlash that we can realistically call a possibility, and that we should do everything in our power to avoid.  9/11 truth (the real kind) should not be allowed to cause a new cycle of violence or hatred towards ANYONE.  This was posted at Kenny's Sideshow...
