I read the exchange and I have to say that I'm surprised that I'm surprised. The Shill Game is much more obviously flawed then I first expected.

Steve Atlgen is endorsing a stripped down version of the truth because it will help his book sell...at least that is the argument.

Also, in the exchange Wendy and Steve have a disagreement as to whether it's considered a legal marriage for a non-Jew to marry a Jew in Israel.

If I (a non-Jew) were to go to Israel and marry a fine Jewish girl...would it be considered a legal marriage in Israel?

This book is just terrible -- shamefully atrocious editing, not NEARLY the number of Truth references we were led to believe, Islamophobia, xenophobia (China! Aaaah!), pimping of bird flu panic and omg-they're-going-to-chip-us paranoia.

Anyone who calls him/herself an informed 9/11 truth advocate who still hasn't heard (or pretends not to have heard) about how the footage of alleged Palestinian dancing and cheering celebration of the 9/11 attacks that was shown on American TV was a fraudulent and viscous misrepresentation of footage that was actually shot well before 9/11, in addition to his naive and brainwashed scenarios of the Evil Muslim Terrorist crap in his book, deserves nothing but contempt and should be immediately identified as a racist, warmongering, promoter of the Islamofascit Myth, and put on the movement's blacklist.

Then, the fact that on top of that he pulls out the "anti-semitic" baiting garbage and reveals his true colors of his adoration of that little Nazi, theocratic, truly anti-semitic, genocidal Zionist project in the "Promised Land" known as Israel, all the while utilizing the most flimsy and laughable arguments to deny it's connection to 9/11 I think pretty much lays out in plain view what he is really up to. And yes, Lazlo, I am totally with you that when a shill is as transparent as this scum bag Alten is, all the niceties about not being too quick on the shill calling go immediately out the nearest window. This guy's shilliness is so over the top that any shill meters within crying distance are gonna immediately blow right through the top of the scales faster than you can say "shill"!

Thanks Lazlo, I have never read anything by Wendy Campbell before. This woman rocks! I'll have to check out her documentaries as well.

OK, so other than determining that it isn't that hard to detect a staged public relations/propaganda blitz, and that it provides a lot of insight into who is whom in the truth movement, what've we got for our trouble? are the New York Times typesetters busy picking out the letters that will be pressed into the holy bestsellers list anointing Steve Alten (reanointing him I should say) as [insert Bill Douglas ctachphrase here]?

Boy I can't wait for everyone to be talking about The Shell Game--that's gonna rock! I can hear it now--look, even the wacked out theories put forth in The Shell Game are remotely plausible--YOUR stories of explosives in the tower is an anti-semitic Ron Paul voter's tinfoil mantra/rant that qualifies you for serious jail time under the Heroes Defense Act of 2009. Remember what happened to the guy who voted against the heroes defense act? That was SOME bizarre and coincidence rich shit that happened to him, huh?

You know, after the nuke went off, everything changed. We realized we couldn't sit idly by and allow hateful regimes to arm against us. I noticed a thread at TruthMove about The Shell Game -- an informal review by one of the TruthMove people. (I can't remember which one, and it doesn't help that they use such similar-sounding handles -- I can't keep them straight -- and have a disconcerting tendency to use the first person PLURAL voice exclusively. Well, at least one of them.) I added my thoughts, which were critical, of course but said that I did consider the Peak Oil premise for 9/11 well worth adding to the catalog of imperialist motivations.
