PollCan Maduro get a fair trial from Alvin Hellerstein? Of course, Judge Hellerstein is a jurist with integrity. 0% No, Judge Hellerstein works on behalf of the Zionist deep state. 0% Whether he does or not is irrelevant, Maduro is part of the op. 0% He will be bribed into pleading guilty to something minor. 100% Other (specify in comments.) 0% Total votes: 1

hope i didn't do an injustice
to your concept, Laszlo - it was fun - prolly needs some real percussion beyond just me slapping the guitar, and another hundred takes to get it good... anyway, here it is
Hey Tahooey,
absolutely no apologies needed that was fucking awesome and highly impressive. Add the bottom with drums and bass, and that is a punched up song. I didn't even finish writing all the lyrics when I threw it up on the blog. And, yeah your voice and guitar work is really good. Existential pathos in the voice. Now I need to finish the lyrics. Thanks T. Later...
glad you like what i did
thanks man! i know i can do better when i have more time, especially the vocals, probably should do them as a separate track from the acoustic next time. anyway if you want to round out the words i can try to tighten it up for next time i have some peace and quiet in a week or 2
& thanks P45 and gretavo! - i also recorded a dylan number earlier, sort of a response to gretavo's delving into cover material, but then i was afraid it was a little ugly sounding for public consumption, since i like to play it as fast as humanly possible and the song becomes a challenging tongue & finger twister. eh, could def use some work but maybe i'll throw it up later since you guys didn't seem to puke at this one :)
first i gotta get out of the paperwork tornado i am in! ttys
Alright Tahooey!
Very Neil Young, and impressive!
NICE!!!
i bow to those who know how to actually play guitar well! would love to see this one developed!
Bravo!
Really nice playing, T. Could you upload a higher res version somewhere?
thanks - how higher res?
i recorded it in cakewalk, 2 tracks - i'm not sure where those actual tracks are (since the "cakewalk project file" is only 27K) but i can probably figure it out if that's what you'd want. Or I can export as an mp3 with the highest possible settings?
I mean higher bitrate
As it stands, it's only 780kB for a couple of minutes, which puts its bitrate to approximately 32kbps -- or only 1/4 that of "regular" mp3. That's as if you'd record via walkie-talkie and subsequently process through wired tin cans for good measure :-(
LOL i tried the defaults
in cakewalk > export mp3, but the resulting file was about 4MB and the server/ site limit was 2MB so i figured 32k would be enough to get me under the limit and retain enough data to be heard...
but i could upload the default to a different server; ok got it! here's the default resolution version;
http://www.3zzz.net/tahooey/atoughyearforme.mp3
cakewalk audio files
you can see wher ecakewalk puts them under OPTIONS:AUDIO or OPTIONS:GLOBAL...
re: cakewalk audio files
ok i see the folder where it puts them but they all have names like "RC1qzfz4w" with no obvious way to associate them with the project file... hmm.
well i uploaded the default res version to a server, lemme see if i can find it thru the web... posted it up above, http://www.3zzz.net/tahooey/atoughyearforme.mp3
i've had the song in my head now, really want to do a few more takes and get it better, but afraid it won't be able to happen for a week or 2
