Gibson said he wouldn't talk to them because they were being rude. Well, what does he want? How easy is it to be polite to opportunistic mercenary liars for hire? Not easy, lemme tell ya! I think we should keep in mind too though that Gibson is just a newsREADER, no? I mean, he doesn't actually have any original thoughts does he? What a surreal time, eh?

and Jim Hightower, and Greg Palast. Michael Moore is one of the only that I consciously left off the list because of his comments to truthers on camera doubting that AA77 hit the pentagon (or implying strongly that he doubted it.) Then of course there's oddballs like the south park guys who aren't left gatekeeper's per se, but definitely pricks.

the voting system on wtcd seems to be aq bit schizo in that it lets you vote anonymously based on your IP and then if you are logged in based on your user name. in the end it means that registered users have one more vote to offer than annoymice, which seems fair to me. And no, I do NOT pad votes by asking RT, Harley Guy, Paris Hilton, or any of the Dancing Israelis to vote on stuff for me. :)

if they aren't smart enough to see for themselves by now and they're paid enough that it's a disincentive to look further. sad to say despite the mass (public, not media) acceptance more or less that "the government lied, they lie all the time" nothing of immediate or of severe consequence will come out of the "truth movement" as it is, and that people will continue to believe or at least comfort themselves with the myth that "the government's lies serve my (and my progeny's) interests" and fail to recognize that the mass media to which they are so addicted also lies on a grand scale for nefarious purposes.

Thought A: The government and media regularly lie to us/misinform us to meet their own ends.
Thought B: The government and media would never lie to us/misinform us about 9/11, especially not to meet their own ends.

And it really is true: People seem able to accept both thoughts -- no matter how contradicting -- at the same time.
