Movie - In Their Own Words: The Untold Stories Of The 911 Family Members
The movie catalogs an incredible number of pre-911 "Intelligence Failures", post-911 cover-ups & persistent lies to the public and the incompetent application of the War On Terror by the Bush administration. The movie leaves no doubt that "they knew before 911" and demands that someone be fired and held responsible.
The overall theme of the movie can be summed up, IMO, with two para-phrased lines....
"We know who did it (Bin Laden / 19 Hijackers)"
"You didn't do your god damn job"
They know Bin Laden did it, they know the US Government should have responded to the threat before 9/11...and they want someone to be fired! (Dammit!) These people are rightfully pissed off!
Where They Miss The Ball
Narrated by a hand full of 9/11 Victim's family members, they each take turns explaining each intelligence failure...one by one...with great detail. One colossal intelligence failure after another is written off as 'coincidental'. Over and over the narrator expresses astonishment at yet another 'intelligence failure'. They exclaim: "They should have known!".
For example...
Atta was on Able Danger's list of evil Arabs in the USA
the CIA knew two evil Muslims were in the USA via the Malaysian Terror Summit
two hijackers rented from FBI informant
and on and on and on....
I found myself in disbelief towards the middle of the movie when the narrators continue to tout the un-proven "19 Evil Arab Hijackers Theory" as a viable explanation even though they've presented a solid case that these 'alleged hijackers' were 'allowed' to walk around the United States freely.
Unknown to the narrators, they've given us a solid case showing that the "19 Arab Hijackers Theory" is a ridiculous back story. But as each 'coincidental intelligence failure' is explained...the narrators continue to act 'astonished' and amazed that the intelligence experts just continued to fail.
It's as if they've looked at the entire body of officially sponsored 911 research. They've concluded that the entire thing (almost) is a huge lie intended to cover the asses of those who 'failed' that day.
Out of all the lies and deceit...in the face of one 'coincidental' failure after another....they cherry pick one apparent truth:
"The evil Muslim Hijackers Did It....Our Government Just Failed That Day".
At one point I felt as if the narrator was specifically trying to convince me that he believes the official "19 evil Arab hijackers" theory.
I was disappointed the movie did not address the demolition of the WTC Complex at all...a fact that neutralizes and negates the theory that "19 fanatical Arabs" hijacked 4 planes, bringing down 3 of the tallest buildings in the world.

What kind of family...
...could be so blind to facts so important to achieving justice for their slain loved ones?
That's a question I would really like answered.
And let me also say that among the thousands of victims of 9/11, surely there must be one or two people at least who were alone in life without close family ties. I would like to say here and now that I am adopting as my own cherished loved ones all those victims who looking on from wherever they are, can find no one advocating for justice for THEM. They are my family now.
My family members were murdered on 9/11. Not by Arab Muslims. Not by incompetence. To my fellow victims' families I wish only that your pain be eased. To my own slain family I swear my unflagging devotion to bringing your killers to justice--every last one of them.
Go ahead and speak in your own words, and we will speak in ours.
Implausible Evil Arab Theory
To those who believe that the "19 Evil Arabs" theory AND the fact that the WTC complex was demolished....not by planes but by other means....I want to point out one thing....
If you put stock in BOTH of these scenarios...then don't you have to also believe that the perps were just waiting around for the hijackers to 'do their part' so the perps could disguise their demolition behind the plane crashes.
That seems implausible. I highly doubt a demolition operation that is dependent on a plane crash / hijacker back story would use real hijackers. The potential to be caught standing with an un-demolished building laden with explosives is too great.
What if the hijacking was thwarted on just one of the planes that hit NYC? You would have a huge building laden with explosives ready for demolition.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here. But after watching this movie it really sort of 'hit home' for me how ridiculous the back-story really is.
Consider it developing an argument' for future use...or practice rather then preaching.

Thanks for bringing it up. Demolition is one of the strongest arguments against the official hijacker fantasy, and in my experience the shills and "false flag truthers" have just ignored the point when it comes up. Of course they used to be able to say they doubted the demolition " theory" but that position is no longer tenable among groups who know the first thing about 9/11...
Take note of who is shilling the back-story
I assume by "back-story" you mean the "forewarnings unheeded" "Bin Laden Ready to Strike in the US" hokum. If that's the case, I say take note of who is/was shilling that story. It should help identify perpetrators. The only catch is that some people might have actually been snowed.

Remembering of course
that the interviews used were from 2 or 3 years ago and, according to a "prominent" truther claiming close association to family members, its unclear whether if their "permission" had been obtained.
