red chips, gray chips, cool chips, gay chips

gay as in happy, christmassy. Anyway... From the apt . 911b - Prof Jones latest. May be old news, I haven't been getting out much but thought this was interesting, at least worth a mention:

Announcing a discovery: Red/gray bi-layered chips in the WTC dust

http://911blogger.com/node/13090#comment

"The chips are bi-layered, red on one side, gray on the other - - and
present in all four samples that I and colleagues are exploring in
depth at this time. ... Yes, the discovery is original work and with other scientists now
examining the microspheres and red chips in the WTC dust -- this new
evidence, there is hope of a breakthrough, pending confirmations."

happy holly day

those red/gray chips...

say, I haven't really read up on them and have been wondering--is it that the material is manufactured by painting it onto something and then somehow peeling it or otherwise taking it off to create the bi-layered chips, or could it be that the subsatnce could be applied directly, like paint, to whethever steel beams one wanted to weaken?

my theory on the chips so far

absent any research other than apt 911b reading, is that these could be prefabricated shaped charges that could then be easily transported and placed, disguised as something innocuous.

One side of the chip could be the trigger/fuse and the other side would be the thermite / thermate / super-thermite that actually cuts through the steel with heat.

There some interesting stuff in the comment thread, like the link by metamars to some new technology along these lines; "Explosives on a chip"

But even if this is rock-solid proof, will it even matter? True believers (OCT/LIHOP) have a religious fervor about their non-scientific beliefs. They'll accept any stretch of a speculative rationalization as proof that we are liars! Indeed they feel the same about us, even though we've got the science on our side (at least from our perspective, we sure as hell do!)
