So if King Kong were to jump up and down, would we expect the towers to give way completely and, well, you know, act like they did on 9/11?

it would only take one King Kong jump to knock off about 0.4893 kg of the fireproofing. The next slight windbow would then of course be enough to cause a total collapse. According to my calculations even before King Kong landed on his feet again. The towers will be gone.
This is all due to K*(3.44/55&9)/PI*0.00124*$/£=€ .
