Your Advice Sought in a Most Important Matter
Thanks to my efforts to bring 9/11 Truth to the unwashed masses of the left community in Portland by infiltrating their organizing committees, I will be emceeing an anti-war rally on Saturday. They know I represent a group called "The September 11 Affinity Group" so they won't be shocked when I get Truthy -- but I want it to be classy Truth! I just want some good basic tidbits to pepper in while I carry out my basic duties to introduce the speakers and so forth. Should I wear a 911truth.org teeshirt a la South Park? Are there any catchy but pithy things I can say? One thing I thought of was something like "We know the war on Iraq was built on lies -- one of them being the utterly false assertion that Saddam had anything to do with 9/11. But that's a lie built on a lie, because not only was he not involved, but we to this day do not know any of the truth about what happened." Somethin' like that.

I've been finding myself discussing 9./11 lately with a lot of folks who are just starting to test the waters, so I think I can help a little. The basic basic point is this--understand how the mainstream media attempt to portray us and then try to show them to be absolutely wrong. i.e. they say we are arrogant loonies. Make sure that Casseia comes across as humble and sane. Capisci?
As usual, keep it simple. Forget the melting point of steel. Building 7 is important. VERY important. The SEC case files in there also appeal to antiwar folks who tend to be suspicious of wall street.
Give them a few reasons like WTC7 to be curious, and use the rest of your time to convince them that you are JUST LIKE THEM. That you are an anti-warrior. That you hate racism and injustice. Tell them Howard Zinn endorsed David Griffin's book. Don't mention any even slightly weird truthers. Mention Janeane Garofalo and Rosie O.
Reassure people that they are not getting into anything weird with 9/11. Come across as patient, understanding, compassionate AND passionate. Another good talking point--we don't claim to know everything, but neither do we, like some, claim to know nothing. What we do know is enough to justify a new expqanded investigation NOT RUN BY A BUSH LOYALIST.

She made it clear when she was on Air America that she was a truther. She is wonderfully outspoken but I don't know why she's going on Shill Maher's show, or why she would agree to do 24.

Point out how you "used to hear that 'not a single structural engineer supports a new investigation' but you don't hear that any more" because there ARE structural and other engineers who support a new investigation. Some of them have put together the excellent site at AE911truth.org that's worth visiting for those seeking evidence and information.

- Rosie is a weirdo in my book! But she did make great strides in my heart with her 9/11 truth bravery.
