Actually, real Orthodox Judaism, from the 1898 publication of Theodor Herzl’s “Der Judenstaat” onwards, has been consistently and vehemently opposed to the heretical, secular idea of establishing a Zionist state and army. In the second part of my article I am going to be dealing with this very real and historic fight that the orthodox rabbis of the late 19th century and early 20th century had with Herzl and his Zionist movement - a movement that the rabbis of the time considered “a cancer upon the Jewish people” and the “work of Satan.” They considered Hitler’s rounding up of the Jews as “fifth column” political detainees to be God’s punishment for the sin of Zionism. They consider the Zionists to be the modern-day “worshippers of the Golden Calf.” They consider the Zionists to be the real enemies of the Jewish people and Zionism to be the primary cause of all anti-Semitism in the 20th century. They consider the term “secular or non-practising Jew” to be complete nonsense. If you are secular and non-practising, you cannot call yourself a Jew, for Judaism is a faith, not a race, and not an ethnicity - at least, according to the Torah and certain “tractates” of the Talmud, but the Zionists spit upon the words of God and the sages of the faith. Nobody knows about this historic debate that occurred within the Jewish community, because, as Rabbi Dovid Yisrael Weiss has mentioned in a letter I will be citing from later, “the real voice of Judaism has never been allowed to speak through the American Zionist-controlled Media.” You also never hear the voices of orthodox rabbis complaining about the “the American Zionist-controlled Media,” but now, thanks to the Free Press of the Internet, you do. The real rabbis of Judaism make a large and pronounced distinction between the ancient faith of Judaism and the heretical, modern concocted ideology of deceit and cynical manipulation known as Zionism.

As Big D has correctly mentioned, and this is also confirmed and revealed by Herzl himself in his original Zionist manifesto -- the Zionist movement consciously, as a tactic, exploited the religious simplicity and notion of the average Jew in order to acquire and build their secular state and future empire. The poor and desperate Jews of Eastern Europe, with their simple faiths, were to go to Palestine and build the infrastructure of the state, after which the wealthier Jews of Europe would then cruise in comfort into a pre-fab Jewish State built for them by the desperate and gullible.

It is also from the angry correspondence of orthodox rabbis of WWII Europe that we learn about the treacherous Zionist-Nazi alliances and backroom deals used to create the impression of a “Holocaust” so that the Zionist organizations will have the leverage power of “guilt” at the post-war table when the conquered territories are divided up. The Zionist movement, and Herzl himself, also built their case for a Jewish State through the exploitation of the culturally ingrained, cultivated, and unifying power of the “us against the World” notion. This idea, of course, is a common psychological reaction that would be quite natural for any minority group of persecuted or oppressed people to have, but amongst all the many persecuted and oppressed peoples of history, the Jews have elevated this notion to one possessing an almost emotional cult-like status, replete with its own body of borrowed and re-worked Near Eastern mythology and quasi-historic narrations, wherein the tribes of Israel are exaggeratedly portrayed as either “victim like no other” or “hero like no other.” How do we know that the Israelite tribes are the chosen people of the only true god YHWH, (a deity found btw in the Ugaritic texts of polytheistic Canaanite mythology)? The Israelite scribes who wrote the books of the Hebrew “Tanakh” (the Hebrew Bible) told us so. How do we know that this formerly Canaanite deity officially awarded the land of Canaan to this nomadic tribal confederation from the east? This is, of course, extremely flimsy evidence upon which to violently enforce real estate hegemony over someone else’s farmlands in the modern world of rational, myth-free legal systems, but I guess, even in this time of “modern scientific man,” ancient folktales written down by anonymous authors die hard. Lord Arthur Balfour certainly got suckered in by this idea in 1917.

 that's why sometimes i think the world needs a new religion based more on science, truth, peace, justice, honesty...  if the sheeple aren't smart enough to think for themselves, maybe we'll never have a better world without a better religion (if there possibly is such a thing as a "good" religion?)?

u know there are scientific studies of reincarnation?  Check out Jim Tucker "Life Before Life" - this stuff is documented and totally unbelievable (unless or until you accept that reincarnation is possible).  You may come away with a whole new outlook on life.  I know I did.
