OMG What a nightmare. I thought I had destroyed the blog. I DID destroy the blog trying to fix the DNS issues. Thank DOG my hosting folks had a backup! But yep, we lost everything posted after 7 a.m. yesterday, my time. I think.

Anyway everything is back to normal! such as normal is around here. :) Here's a bunch of cute animal videos...

man i felt really bad last night, like it was all my fault for going on about the DNS issue.
i am pretty good with moving sites & servers, its kind of what i do for a living going on 11 years now. if you ever need help, advice, suggestions, 2nd opinions or any hosting type services hit me up tahooey at 3zzz dot net... would be glad to help any way i can

Good to see you all back. I figured you were taking care of DNS, IP, server-to-server problems, and all that, Gretavo, but we do cover rather hot topics here, and the folks we talk about have a lot of muscle to shut down any media that may interfere with their maintenance of historical myths and tales of kings wearing new clothes. Late yesterday afternoon, I made some brief comment in my last post about the Committee of 300 and The Club of Rome, which I reposted today, and half an hour later, I came back here to take a WTCD “cute pet video break,” and wham, I was met by a page with a Drupal logo telling me that the site was down for maintenance. I thought “maintenance,” yeah, that’s what they always say. :) “Yeah, we’re just here to fix the elevators and install new internet cabling.” I was not going to let myself get totally spooked until the site was down for 48 hours, and besides, Dr. John Coleman mentions the Committee of 300 all the time, and his site never gets taken down.

This reminded me of the April Fool’s joke that the webmaster over at Bushflash.com pulled this year. On April 1st , all day and night, anyone who went to that site was met by a non-navigable, white page with a super large U.S. Department of Homeland Security logo in the center. The text underneath the DHS logo read, “This website has been taken offline due to having been deemed a threat to U.S. national security.”

Anyways, I am glad that our problems here were technical and not political. Thanks for your work, G. The interface of this reborn WTCD is definitely expanded, and the pet videos could be a nice added feature for those who need to take a little break from all the heavy duty reading material. “Stop thinking about WWIII for a minute and watch these cute kitties in a Kleenex box” Remember the Kitlers (cats with Hitler moustaches) at http://www.kitlers.com ?

Is there a reason that "full html" is not the default setting? Is it better that way? There is much pasting of web addresses that do not turn into live links, and I think in many cases it is because the poster doesn't check the "full html" option, which is hidden to begin with.

Well, there probably is a away, but do you think with all this new bling I have any clue where to start looking? Also, it seems that any issues beginning today will be temporary (like, try again in a minute things) due to all the tinkering I'm doing with "the Drupal". A lot of the modules are probably still having bugaboos worked out. I did, though, feel so empowered by the death and resurrection that i figured why not take this little starship where no blogs had gone before (at least in the truth quadrant...) cute animal videos are JUST THE BEGINNING!! no, but I do see the cute animal vids as effective therapy for those who are bummed by talk of imminent war, criminal coverups and mass murder though. We should all remember every now and then WHY we do this--to keep those liitle ones smiling, playing, and growing into a variety of larger, less charming animals. I ean of course, that we do it for the children.... (ahem, notice the many new ways to rank up sensitive and beautiful posts, kof kof)
