A Plausible Chain of Events

Why did the south tower, second to be struck by a plane, collapse first? The official explanation is that it is because it was struck at a lower floor with more weight therefore borne by the overloaded columns remaining after the plane impact. However, we know that the plane struck the south tower at an angle that presumably resulted in less damage to the core, as well as in some engine parts landing in the street in New York, and apparently in a thermitic (molten iron producing) device being dislodged from a core column and pushed to the edge of the building where its fountain of molten iron would be caught on videotape. Is it a coincidence that the south tower "collapsed" at the same time? Indeed not, and others have speculated that the reason the south tower was set off when it was is that an unplanned collapse event was beginning to happen in the form of the top section tilting towards the corner where the molten iron was collecting, a prelude, in all probability, to its toppling to the ground and precluding appeals to it as the cause of the lower section's destruction. This leads one to wonder when, if not then, the perps had planned to bring down the the south tower *and* the north tower--who is to say they had not planned to allow for a daring "skin of their teeth" escape by all rescue personnel and trapped tenants as part of a kinder, gentler shock and awe?

Do you think...

a kinder, gentler shock and awe would have had the staying power that a few thousand deaths did? I think if anything the treatment of the people who worked on the pile, who were used (up) with absolute disregard so that evidence could be destroyed is compelling evidence that no one had any compunctions about many, many deaths.

OTOH, the South Tower may have come down first simply because the top section *was* about to fall, presumably with calamitous results for the ground/buildings it was going to fall on.

And on the OTHER other hand, the series "The Event" is depicting a hijacked plane intended to be used for terrorism, diverted, and all of its passengers killed after they disembarked. Meanwhile, a fake crash site is created in the Amazon rainforest and the bodies are to be moved to it. (A faked plane crash site with fake bodies -- real corpses standing in for other people, that is -- was also a feature of "Lost.")

nice guy

benefit of doubt. thank god you don't think like a psychopath, G!

this was not a flawless op

having read on a Willy Loman thread somewhere that there were supposed to be 3 planes hitting 3 buildings, 7 was not supposed to come down without a plane (93) having hit it first; and in order for this to happen, 1 and 2 would have to be out of the way. and, of course, the south tower was not supposed to go first. if the tilting top section had followed the laws of physics, either it would have fallen onto the street or other buildings, or might it have been blown to bits and pulverized in mid-air during the fall, as David Chandler shows happening to smaller pieces igniting, exploding, and changing direction...a bit hard to explain without painted-on super-nanothermite. on the other hand, if the top section completely crashed down, nanothermite-painted parts and all, would chunks of it have exploded on the ground once they initiated detonation of the rest of the building?

almost a ghost

like as soon as it tilted, it was being pulverized, the mollecules managing to hold their former combined form briefly.

btw, just trying to keep on topic here at wtcdemo (humhmmm)
