I have apparently been blocked by 911 Blogger

before being blocked (I will start saying banned if I'm not unblocked soon!) was a reply to someone who asked in the nyczeitgeist thread if I really believe in god. Here's my answer to them:

Let me assume you doubt that I do? I've actually thought quite a bit about this and for a long time was quite agnostic in part because of how poorly the concept of god and spirituality generally is approached in society. Who could not be turned off the notion of god by seeing how it is routinely abused and has been since the dawn of civilization? While I don't believe in a personalized god as described in the OT I do believe in a fundamental unity of existence that I think one could think of as god, or maybe "godness". I think that we are each as individuals part of a single whole and that that actually means something and has consequences for how we should approach life, by which I mean our lives, i.e. human life, which is unique on earth and perhaps in the entire universe. I think that our capacity for awareness not just of our individuality which I think is an illusion but of the very existence of ourselves as part of the universe, of something as opposed to nothingness, coupled with our seemingly inherent inability to grasp its fundamental nature except by non-verbal experience and reflection is a great mystery and exploring it is one of the most worthwhile aspects of being alive. I think that throughout history many individuals have lived their lives quite mindfully in the spirit of this quest and I believe that the figure of Jesus could be traced back to such an individual who by virtue of his (or her, you never know!) strength and wisdom and maybe most importantly courage brought the results of this kind of reflection to bear on those around him, on his society and government, because this spirit of oneness compels those who embrace it to manifest the positive, or light, as opposed to the negative, or dark nature of itself. I happen to think that the bible, at least the new testament, needs to be read critically with an eye to filtering out that which was piled on to the original and powerful message that lies at its core. Too many people who believe themselves to be religious or pious do not go beyond the words, which is a shame because I think one of the key messages in the NT is in fact that the holy spirit is to be found within and requires no earthly intermediary. I think the truly revolutionary message of whoever Jesus was has been lost to most, as Jesus most surely believed of his contemporaries who lost touch with the true "godness" by settling instead into a shadow of the true spirit promulgated by priests and other charlatans using the idea of god for their own personal gain. To worship idols like the cross or the crucifixion or the virgin mary or the korasn or the talmud or the star of david--to make the mistake of equating any of these with the true spirit is perhaps the worst sin and biggest folly and that all the greats like Jesus and Buddha were originally saying as much, and because inevitably over time and space the message is corrupted there are endless opportunities to remind people and ourselves of what is truly important and genuine about our spiritual experience as humans.

Another user has been conspicuously absent, although his account is evidently NOT blocked.

Who aren't actually new users but who rarely if ever posted before, like "Anonymous".

Oh well, I knew this day would come! It's kind of a relief--now I can say what I really think about some of those people--but who will read it? Sigh...

I recommend emailing them to ask them if you have indeed been blocked. They are supposed to tell you if you were and provide you the reason.

It's funny but I noticed that this person Jon Gold used to blog constantly. I assumed that he was one of the organizers of the site. Then I got in a disagreement with him -- chiding him on why he stated that he only wants to look for 9/11 perps inside the us gov't. He told me that he wouldn't answer me until I've read all his blogs and postings on some other site (mybbsucks.com), which was 500 posts. I don't have time to read 500 posts, many with dead links, PLUS all his blogs (??) on 911B. (It took him longer to write that directive to me than it would have taken him to answer my question.) Then his 911B page was cut off to me, so I couldn't read his blogs. I asked him, on his next blog, if there was a technical glitch, reminded him of who I was, said I sincerely wanted to read everything he ever wrote, but he never wrote back. And from what I can see, hasn't been around much since.

I assumed when I started out at 9/11 blogger that it was all people interested in the truth, plus a few obvious shills. But I am starting to think that the core people there are against discussing any evidence that points to Israel. It's a major disappointment.

That means you happened upon his user page when he WAS blocked (that's happened a couple of times recently, but each time it was temporary.) He has vanished, though -- you're right -- and it's strange, because unlike those of John Albanese, Jon Gold's frequent threats that he is "quitting" 911blogger or the Truth Movement itself never seem to result in an absence of more than a few hours. (Albanese will disappear for months at a time.)

RT's religion post was innocuous, but he was blocked before posting it, so it's not the reason. My guess would be that it is a direct result of posts he made concerning the holocaust. My question is whether there was anything going on behind the scenes...

In this thread you reference a user who was recently blocked from the site, suggesting that perhaps this is the same person that posted this blog entry, I checked that myself before posting this blog entry and would appreciate it if you would contact me in the future if you are concerned of a user using multiple aliases rather than suggest that someone is, especially when the person you referenced was not involved in that thread, and is blocked from the site and unable to defend themselves.

I have had to block 3 accounts now in the last 2 days, something which I never have to do, I would appreciate it if you could help in letting these inner feuds blow over and not post anything which might be inferred as pushing someone else's buttons. If our comments continue to go downhill because of the inner feuds amongst a handful of our users then we will either have to block those users which are at the center of these feuds, or just get rid of comments altogether - which unfortunately appears to be the direction we are heading.
