His obsession with secrecy, both in others and maintaining his own, lends him the air of a conspiracy theorist. Is he one? "I believe in facts about conspiracies," he says, choosing his words slowly. "Any time people with power plan in secret, they are conducting a conspiracy. So there are conspiracies everywhere. There are also crazed conspiracy theories. It's important not to confuse these two. Generally, when there's enough facts about a conspiracy we simply call this news." What about 9/11? "I'm constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud." What about the Bilderberg conference? "That is vaguely conspiratorial, in a networking sense. We have published their meeting notes."

The old playbook, pretend to

The old playbook, pretend to be a truth seeker, gain web cred with some hot video or other non-game changing truth info, mix in some narrative that the Feds or spooks are after him, then use the gained cred to discredit 9-11 truth.

Fucking predictable already. Very Sibel Edmonds like.

I'm shocked!

Just completely shocked that Victoria would try and reassure us that wikileaks is on the up and up! :

The Feds are hanging around at conferences where he's supposed to speak, trying to catch him. I tend to doubt wikileaks is a limited hang-out. This is just the average response of the average person, and if he chooses, then, to filter out "conspiratorial nonsense", that's just another area we've lost to the dis- and mis-info campaigns by both the Bush Admin and the no-anything advocates -- "conspiracy theorists" on the one hand, and "no planes, no passengers, no hijackers" on the other.

Any average person will steer clear of those and it's an uphill battle to re-learn history once they've gotten those ideas into their heads.

In the same thread she takes shots at Griffin for the voice morphing speculation and the faked phone calls. The more that hacks like her attack Griffin the more I like him. Not that I don't like him I just don't trust him. I certainly trust him more than the Hoffman's though...

and apparently he's a physics nerd...

...a PHYSICS nerd, Assange is. Did you somehow miss those Newtonian principles?

Yeah, but Victronix knows

Yeah, but Victronix knows whats best for us right? I mean, if the FEDS are following him around he MUST be legit! Or more likely its an exercise in cred building(along with the media coverage).

Daniel Elsberg

What about him, Gretavo? I haven't seen "The most dangerous man In America : Daniel Elsberg and the Pentagon Papers". I have read where DE is feeling a kinship to Julian Assange. DE has also been interracting with Sibel Edmonds. Again, these "courageous" whistleblowers are not even addressing 911 in any real way.
Does anybody know what DE has to say about 911? It's hard to believe he has no opinion whatsoever!

I could be wrong, and I

I could be wrong, and I don't remember the specifics, but I think that Ellsberg made some tepid pro-9/11 truth statements only to walk back on those tepid statements a few weeks later. I think he has an opinion but its of the LIHOP variety at best. In fact I don't even think he went that far in his initial statements.

"We have delayed the release of some 15,000 reports from the total archive as part of a harm minimization process demanded by our source. After further review, these reports will be released, with occasional redactions, and eventually, in full, as the security situation in Afghanistan permits."
