CIA Fight Against Communism Bolsters Radical Islam

The CIA's determination to roll back communism during the Cold War inadvertently allowed radical Islamists to gain a foothold in Europe, according to a new book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Ian Johnson.
A Q&A with Ian Johnson:
Q: We're inundated with books on Islam and Europe and so on. Why another?
A: Two reasons. The simplest is because this story is important and hasn't been told before. It starts during World War II with the Nazis deciding they could use Muslims to fight the Soviet Union. Then, after the war, the very same group of Muslims are recruited by the CIA to do the same thing--fight the Soviets by using Islam. This group is then taken over by the Muslim Brotherhood, which uses Munich as a beachhead to spread into the West. This is twenty years before Afghanistan and the mujahidin; it's the prequel to a lot of what's gone on since.
Plus, this continues right up to the present. The Muslim Brotherhood still plays a key role in setting a radical agenda for Islam in Europe. It's no coincidence that the mosque in Munich is associated with many major terrorist attacks in the West, including the two attacks on the World Trade Center. As our governments try to figure out how to deal with Islam, we need to know our own history first.

After seeing one too many threads get hijacked and disrupted by snide, evidence-free insinuations about Jews (oops, i mean 'Zionists') doing 9/11 and controlling the US, I'm on a mission to flush out and drive out the real- and fake- 'anti-semites' who've been doing it. I also was calling out the team on the double standard of what goes on the front page and back page with regard to CIT... there's this unofficial policy that "Pentagon stuff all goes on the back page because it's divisive and inconclusive..." but the real truth is more sinister: several anti CIT entries in the past have made the front page, whereas the unveiling of National Security Alert, with the endorsements from major movement heavyweights, made the back page, and it took about 48 hours for the entry to even show up (so that it would be far down the list while other new entries were published in the mean time). I pointed this stuff out in the 232-comment Dr. Jones thread, and shortly thereafter received an e-mail from Justin saying "Adam, if you make any more off topic posts, you will not be commenting at 911blogger." He didn't point me to an offending post but given the timing, he was clearly pissed that I was exposing the censorship.
SO Justin, were you a bad egg from the beginning or did Loose Nuke (someone I'm now 100%, not just 99% convinced is Cointelpro) get to you?

Adam, I was noticing a sudden upsurge of Loose Nuke at blogger. And Bluebonnet was just saying how the msm Is now to be called Old Media, and I liked her comments on Clinton and the rest. But she is happy that 911blogger and Raw Story are not censoring the truth. Haha!!
I have not been banned, only ridiculed as a "nutter" , a flake and a posing flower child for my sincere posts regarding 911. They don't need to ban me, only laugh, call me crazy and Jbax, the heckler was voted up!!
Meanwhile you and the others who intelligently debate the issues of the Pentagon and Israel, are banned without any reasons whatsoever!!!
I'm not sure how to deal with this: for now I'll just enjoy my crazy status at blogger. I'm bound to be banned soon if I sound too smart as will Jpass and some few others who care more about the truth than about respectability.
And things have been quiet there Adam, without your passionate inquiry that will not back down!
