Caught Stalking - Daily Kos' "Bouwerie Boy" Outed as Creepy Stalker of 9/11 Truth Folk

HA! Poor BB, thought he'd get praise for his enthusiasm instead gets called out for stalking... Then when he realizes he's been made to look a fool he turns on the commenter and accuses them of, well, who knows...

It is helpful in policing (0 / 0)
the site to be aware of their activities. Many repeat, banned, 911 trolls also post at these tin foil sites. I occasionally even sit in at the local NY911Truth meeting here in the East Village which is held on Sunday's just around the corner from me. Those affairs are really crazy. I once watched a presentation there which advanced the theory that all news footage of the Trade Center collapse had been rigged by the Government to hide the actually cause of their destruction, American cruise missiles. Wow!

I do't disagree with you at all, really. The 9/11 event has been fertilizer for the nutjob crowd. Doubtless.

But "policing" them is a strange thing to do, at least in my perspective. It's like the people who LOVE to lurk at Freeper sites. It reminds me of this guy in high school who professed to "love the smell of farts".

I see these people as chaffe in the wind.

They have a right to their opinions, as do you, and I, and even our good friend ticketpunch.

exactly.

Why police them if you don't find them to be credible?

See my post below about 'well-poisoning'. That's what these guys do. Fortunately, people are catching on...

Why? Because I agree with the owner (0 / 0)
who believes that conspiracy theorists should not be posting at his site and because I take my TU status seriously. It is a responsibility of TU's to police this site. These groups have, on occasion, organized campaigns against communities like ours. Scholars For 911 Truth is a good example. They attacked the site back in early 2006 led by one of their founders.

I wasn't talking about (1+ / 0-)
THIS site.

I was responding to this:

I occasionally even sit in at the local NY911Truth meeting here in the East Village which is held on Sunday's just around the corner from me.
Sorry, I didn't make that clear enough.

Ummm, o the umanity, sometimes (0 / 0)
the way you police this site is by monitoring troll activity on other sites. Case in point, the switters group.

BB, you were not referring to websites here:

I occasionally even sit in at the local NY911Truth meeting here in the East Village which is held on Sunday's just around the corner from me.
You were clearly referring to a meeting that you physically attend.

I have now made clear--a second time--that this is the part of your post that I was responding to.

So you go somewhere where your views would clearly not be welcomed, were you to voice them in person? Your motivations may become open to interpretation when you do things like that, just like they're open to interpretation here.

Well, it's held in my beloved St Marks church and (0 / 0)
it's not a participatory event. They usually show videos or have a guest tin foil speaker. I supose being a curious person in 21st century Americas is a bit unusual. Speaking of unusual, I noticed that you have posted over 1100 comments here in just a few weeks. Quite a posting frequency for such a new user.

Glad you like the venue (0 / 0)
St Marks is lovely. Is that the only reason you go there? You're not there to monitor the group's activities after all?

Funny...you're not making yourself very clear, BB...

Gee, do you have some kind of problem with (0 / 0)
a person sitting in on a meeting which encourages public attendance? I don't do it all that often. Should I just stay at home and watch American Idol? You can learn quite a bit by being curious and persoanlly checking things out. I mean, how would I know about false flag attacks on the fleet if I didn't have this healthy curiosity?

Only if I'm not interested (1+ / 0-)
in the actual subject, or interested enough only to make fun of it.

Gee, do you have some kind of problem with a person sitting in on a meeting which encourages public attendance?
I doubt they'd be happy you were there, if your sole intent was to monitor them or make fun of them.

Do you take the picture of your cat with you when you attend these meetings?

I'm not there to make fun of anyone. I'm there (0 / 0)
to hear what they have to say. Interesting that a questioner, like yourself, would not appreciate this. I'm sure that NY911Truth welcomes the opportunity to convert non-believers. Maybe that's why they hold the meeting in a church. What better place for a religious conversion. After all, that's what this group really is - a religion.

Do you make fun (1+ / 0-)
Recommended by:markthshark
of them, once you hear what they have to say? Again, do you take that picture of your cat with you, and wave it around?

I doubt it. It's far easier to do that from behind your keyboard, isn't it?

There's quite a bit I can do from behind (0 / 0)
my keyboard user 124269. I suspect we have bumped into one another before.

I didn't think you (0 / 0)
made fun of them in person. I doubt you'd be very successful at it, even if you had the guts.

Far easier to take anonymous potshots, as you continue to prove very nicely.
