Major SLIP UP in an otherwise hilariously laughable hit piece at Fox News

From the article (bolding, italics and underline mine of course)

Governor Ventura and many 9/11 “Truthers” allege that government
explosives caused the afternoon collapse of Building 7. This is false. I
know this because I remember watching all 47 stories of Building 7
suddenly and silently crumble before my eyes.

Shortly before the building collapsed, several NYPD officers and
Con-Edison workers told me that Larry Silverstein, the property
developer of One World Financial Center was on the phone with his
insurance carrier to see if they would authorize the controlled
demolition of the building
– since its foundation was already unstable
and expected to fall.

A controlled demolition would have minimized the damage caused by the
building’s imminent collapse and potentially save lives. Many law
enforcement personnel, firefighters and other journalists were aware of
this possible option. There was no secret. There was no conspiracy.
While I was talking with a fellow reporter and several NYPD officers,
Building 7 suddenly collapsed, and before it hit the ground, not a
single sound emanated from the tower area. There were no explosives; I
would have heard them. In fact, I remember that in those few seconds, as
the building sank to the ground that I was stunned by how quiet it was.

nope and nope

I don't allege US government explosives. It could have been Israeli government explosives. And the writer isn't saying that Silverstein actually conducted a demolition, he is saying that Silverstein asked his insurance company about the possibility of demolishing it. The implication is that before he could arrange for this the building collapsed on its own, admittedly very fortunately in a manner that obviated the need for a controlled demolition, as the building seemed to control its own demolition. His point that there were no loud blasts is specious since the explosions could have happened at any time in the morning especially simultaneously with other events like the plane strikes or tower collapses, with the "last straw" being silent thermite reactions severing the last foundation beams.

Shapiro didn't quote

Shapiro didn't quote Ventura, or anyone else for that matter, making allegations against a specific government.

"Governor Ventura and many 9/11 “Truthers” allege that government explosives caused the afternoon collapse of Building 7."

Obviously, nano-thermite can only be obtained from a high-level, military government sources.

Bombshell: Silverstein Wanted To Demolish Building 7 On 9/11
Friday, 23 April 2010

It was refreshing to hear a professionally produced news report about this.

I.N.N. syndicated radio news broadcast audio:
http://www.innworldreport.net/audiofeed/media/2010-04-23-4p_m128K001.mp3 (3 min. 2.9mb)
(Fast-forward to 1:45 for audio of the Silverstein/WTC7 report in today's repeating broadcast.)

Fox News journalist Jeffrey Scott Shapiro says he was working for Gannett News at Ground Zero on 9/11 and remembers “very clearly what I saw and heard.” Shapiro says: “Shortly before Building 7 collapsed, several NYPD officers and Con-Edison workers told me that Larry Silverstein, the property developer of One World Financial Center was on the phone with his insurance carrier to see if they would authorize the controlled demolition of the building – since its foundation was already unstable and expected to fall.” This building’s collapse alone resulted in a payout of nearly $500 million, based on the contention that it was an unforeseen accidental event. However, Silverstein has consistently denied there was ever a plan to intentionally demolish Building 7. Prison Planet journalist Alex Jones writes: “How could explosives have been correctly placed on such short notice …unless the explosives were already in place? This new revelation is astounding and needs to be investigated immediately.”

sorry, but is english your first language?

When someone says "government" something, like "government subsidies", "government agents", or "government explosives" they mean "of the government of the country in which we are in" unless a different country is specified, like "government subsidies for Israeli settlers". The suggestion, in any case, that only a government lab (of any given country) could make nanothermite is absurd. Even if the method of production had been developed by a government lab like Los Alamos, it could easily be leaked to pretty much anyone with the equipment/money to buy the equipment for production. This statement: "Obviously, nano-thermite can only be obtained from a high-level, military government sources." is a red herring.
