Is WikiLeaks A Psy-op?
From Wayne Madsen (grain of salt handy) via Kenny's Sideshow...
Is
WikiLeaks a CIA/Mossad Front?
WikiLeaks is getting a lot of
publicity in anticipation of a
classified film Wikileaks claims to have in its possession that
shows evidence of a US massacre of civilians. Images have power – think
Abu Ghraib, think Mi Lai – and efforts at "perception
management" by the department of defence will be much complicated
by documentary evidence that leaves little to interpretation or
"perception" of a human rights crime committed by US forces. Wikileaks
plans to show the video at the National Press Club in Washington, DC on 5
April.
But Wayne Madsen is reporting that WikiLeaks may well be a CIA/Mossad
operation.
Then again maybe Madsen is an operative.
Who can you trust?
Too many questions, not enough answers.
From the authur zbygniew
blog .....
CIA,
Mossad and Soros behind WikileaksSuspicions abound that Wikileaks is part of U.S. cyber-warfare
operationsWMR has learned from Asian intelligence sources that there is a
strong belief in some Asian countries, particularly China and
Thailand, that the website Wikileaks, which purports to publish
classified and sensitive documents while guaranteeing anonymity to the
providers, is linked to U.S. cyber-warfare and computer espionage
operations, as well as to Mossad's own cyber-warfare activities.Wikileaks claims to have decrypted
video footage of a U.S. Predator air strike on civilians in
Afghanistan and that covert U.S. State Department agents followed
Wikileaks's editor from Iceland to Norway in a surveillance operation
conducted jointly by the United States and Iceland. Iceland's
financially-strapped government recently announced a policy of becoming
a haven for websites that fear political oppression and censorship
in their home countries. However, in the case of Wikileaks, countries
like China and Thailand are suspicious of the websites' actual
"ownership."Wikileaks says it intends to show its
video at an April 5 press conference at the National Press Club in
Washington, DC but that its presenters may be detained or arrested
before that time. WMR's sources believe the Wikileaks "militancy" in
the face of supposed surveillance appears fake. Our Asian intelligence sources report
the following: "Wikileaks is running a
disinformation campaign, crying persecution by U.S. intelligence-
when it is U.S. intelligence itself. Its [Wikileaks'] activities in
Iceland are totally suspect." Wikileaks claims it is the victim of a
new COINTELPRO [Counter Intelligence Program] operation directed by
the Pentagon and various U.S. intelligence agencies. WMR's sources
believe that it is Wikileaks that is part and parcel of a
cyber-COINTELPRO campaign, such as that proposed by President Obama's
"information czar," Dr. Cass Sunstein.In
January 2007, John Young, who runs cryptome.org,
a site that publishes a wealth of sensitive and classified
information, left Wikileaks, claiming the operation was a CIA front.
Young also published some 150 email messages sent by Wikileaks
activists on cryptome. They include a disparaging comment about this
editor by Wikileaks co-founder Dr. Julian Assange of Australia.
Assange lists as one of his professions "hacker." His German
co-founder of Wikileaks uses a pseudonym, "Daniel Schmitt."Wikileaks claims it is "a
multi-jurisdictional organization to protect internal dissidents,
whistleblowers, journalists and bloggers who face legal or other
threats related to publishing" [whose] primary interest is in exposing
oppressive regimes in Asia, the former Soviet bloc, Sub-Saharan
Africa and the Middle East, but we are of assistance to people of all
nations who wish to reveal unethical behavior in their governments
and corporations. We aim for maximum political impact. We have
received over 1.2 million documents so far from dissident communities
and anonymous sources."In China,
Wikileaks is suspected of having Mossad connections. It is pointed
out that its first "leak" was from an Al Shabbab "insider" in
Somalia. Al Shabbab is the Muslim insurgent group that the neocons
have linked to "Al Qaeda."Asian intelligence sources also
point out that Assange's "PhD" is
from Moffett University, an on-line diploma mill and that while he is
said to hail from Nairobi, Kenya, he actually in from Australia where
his exploits have included computer hacking and software piracy.WMR has confirmed Young's contention
that Wikileaks is a CIA front operation. Wikileaks is intimately involved in a $20 million CIA
operation that U.S.-based Chinese dissidents that hack into computers
in China. Some of the Chinese hackers route special hacking program
through Chinese computers that then target U.S. government and
military computer systems. After this hacking is accomplished, the
U.S. government announces through friendly media outlets that U.S.
computers have been subjected to a Chinese cyber-attack. The "threat"
increases an already-bloated cyber-defense and offense budget and
plays into the fears of the American public and businesses that
heavily rely on information technology. It is also pointed out that on Wikileaks advisory board is Ben Laurie, a
one-time programmer and Internet security expert for Google, which
recently signed a cooperative agreement with the U.S. National
Security Agency (NSA) and has been charged by China with being part
of a U.S. cyber-espionage campaign against China. Other Wikileaks
advisory members are leading Chinese dissidents, including Wan Dan,
who won the 1998 National Endowment for Democracy (NED) Democracy
Award; Wang Youcai, founder of the Chinese Democracy Party; Xiao
Qiang, the director of the China Internet Project at the University
of California at Berkeley, member of the advisory board of the
International Campaign for Tibet, and commentator on the George
Soros-affiliated Radio Free Asia; and Tibetan exile and activist
Tashi Namgyal Khamsitsang.Our
sources in Asia believe that Wikileaks ran afoul of their CIA
paymasters after it was discovered that some of Wikileaks's "take"
was being diverted to Mossad instead of to their benefactors at
Langley. After a CIA cur-off in funding, "Daniel Schmitt" took over
and moved the Wikileaks operation to Belgium and Sweden with hopes of
making a more secure base in Iceland. There are strong suspicions that Wikileaks is yet another Soros-funded "false
flag" operation on the left side of the political spectrum. WMR has
learned that after former Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN) decided to
oppose Soros's choice of UN Secretary General Kofi Annan's deputy Mark
Malloch Brown as President of the World Bank, succedding the
disgraced Paul Wolfowitz, Soros put the Wikileaks operation into high
gear. "Daniel Schmitt" hacked into Coleman's supporters list,
stealing credit card info, addresses, and publishing the "take" on
Wikileaks. Democrat Al Franken, who was strongly backed by Soros,
defeated Coleman in a legally-contested and very close election. It is also believed by informed sources
that Soros is behind the operation to
move Wikileaks to Iceland. By becoming a power in Iceland, Soros can
prevent Icelanders from paying back the British and Dutch investors
in Icelandic online Ponzi scheme banking and continue his all-out war
against British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who has, in turn,
targeted Soros for betting against pound sterling.Iceland is classic prey for Soros. The
Icelandic krona has been decimated as a currency and has no where to
go but up in value, especially if the British pound and the euro
depreciate. Soros is currently talking down the euro, planning its
fall and shorting it, just like he did versus the pound in London in
the 1980s. After the UK's and Europe's currencies are devalued, Soros
will buy every euro note in sight, thus making trillions.
Soros and his
Wikileaks friends have in Iceland a practically unregulated banking
system desperate for an influx of capital -- money that will come
from the exiled Russian tycoons in Israel, London and the United
States. Israeli investors like Bank Leumi, and awash in siphoned-off
Bernard Madoff cash, will do their bit for this smash-and-grab
operation by Soros's Quantum-linked hedge funds.With
Wikileaks firmly ensconced in Iceland, the "brave" and much-heralded
information leakers will run an international blackmail operation
against Soros's foes and launch computer break-ins against Soros's
business rivals and non-Quantum banks. Wikileaks will be used as the
info-hitmen against President Obama's and Rahm Emanuel's enemies in
the 2012 re-election campaign.From
Iceland, Soros will be well-positioned to gain control over the
massive mineral resources under the melting ice sheet of Greenland.
Under the ice are the only major rare-earth deposits outside of China
and with such minerals at his disposal, Soros can control the
world's electronics industries. This past week's volcanic
activity in Iceland could, however, disrupt or destroy Soros's plans
to establish and control a North American-European gateway in
Iceland.Wikileaks and Iceland
media law are stalking horses for Soros.Soros's game plan for Iceland and its
"freedom of information" zone was hatched years ago.

I have no idea if wikileaks
I have no idea if wikileaks is Mossad, CIA or whatever. But the video they are claiming to release soon has been posted at blogger.

It is one very sad event that I find very disturbing. Apache helicopters pounding helpless Iraqi journalists. This is a great shame for America. There is no excuse for this senseless, murderous brutality.
Please pull out your fucking troops now!
There is no bloody excuse for this. What the fuck is wrong with America!
very true, and therefore the quandary...
Stuff like what's shown in this video, which is probably only the tip of the iceberg, is not only evidence of the criminal nature of these wars but also serves the purposes of those who wish to inflame and provoke those who identify with the victims into retaliation that will receive far more press than these exposés... if Abu Ghraib itself couldn't end the wars by sickening the American people this particular atrocity won't either. Also, it's possible that wikileaks is using this opportunity to earn credibility capital to spend later in some way. Think about it this way--it is said this video was leaked and decrypted, and we all automatically marvel at the noble audacity of those involved in that leak. But we will never know who leaked this and why because wikileaks promises to keep all sources confidential--pretty handy if those sources aren't who we assume them to be.

The rest of the world is not being provoked by all this abuse from the US (and Israel). I find Americans as welcome now as ever in my country. But I am just so disgusted that Americans don't seem to be outraged enough by what their own soldiers do.
As for wikileaks, yes they can be fake just like Sibel Edmonds, who claims to be the person to take your whistleblowing info to.

CentCom unable to find copy of shooting video
By Anne Flaherty and Pauline Jelinek - The Associated Press

WASHINGTON — The military said Tuesday it can’t find its copy of a video that shows two employees of the Reuters news agency being killed by Army helicopters in 2007, after a leaked version circulated the Internet and renewed questions about the attack.
Capt. Jack Hanzlik, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command, said that the military has not been able to locate the video within its files after being asked to authenticate the version available online.
“We had no reason to hold the video at [Central Command], nor did the higher headquarters in Iraq,” Hanzlik said in an e-mailed statement. “We’re attempting to retrieve the video from the unit who did the investigation.”...

Apology from US soldiers for Apache attack on reporters

AN OPEN LETTER OF RECONCILIATION & RESPONSIBILITY TO THE IRAQI PEOPLE
From Current and Former Members of the U.S. Military
Peace be with you.
To all of those who were injured or lost loved ones during the July 2007 Baghdad shootings depicted in the “Collateral Murder” Wikileaks video:
We write to you, your family, and your community with awareness that our words and actions can never restore your losses.
We are both soldiers who occupied your neighborhood for 14 months. Ethan McCord pulled your daughter and son from the van, and when doing so, saw the faces of his own children back home. Josh Stieber was in the same company but was not there that day, though he contributed to the your pain, and the pain of your community on many other occasions.
There is no bringing back all that was lost. What we seek is to learn from our mistakes and do everything we can to tell others of our experiences and how the people of the United States need to realize we have done and are doing to you and the people of your country. We humbly ask you what we can do to begin to repair the damage we caused.
We have been speaking to whoever will listen, telling them that what was shown in the Wikileaks video only begins to depict the suffering we have created. From our own experiences, and the experiences of other veterans we have talked to, we know that the acts depicted in this video are everyday occurrences of this war: this is the nature of how U.S.-led wars are carried out in this region.
We acknowledge our part in the deaths and injuries of your loved ones as we tell Americans what we were trained to do and what we carried out in the name of "god and country". The soldier in the video said that your husband shouldn't have brought your children to battle, but we are acknowledging our responsibility for bringing the battle to your neighborhood, and to your family. We did unto you what we would not want done to us.
More and more Americans are taking responsibility for what was done in our name. Though we have acted with cold hearts far too many times, we have not forgotten our actions towards you. Our heavy hearts still hold hope that we can restore inside our country the acknowledgment of your humanity, that we were taught to deny.
Our government may ignore you, concerned more with its public image. It has also ignored many veterans who have returned physically injured or mentally troubled by what they saw and did in your country. But the time is long overdue that we say that the value of our nation's leaders no longer represent us. Our secretary of defense may say the U.S. won't lose its reputation over this, but we stand and say that our reputation's importance pales in comparison to our common humanity.
We have asked our fellow veterans and service-members, as well as civilians both in the United States and abroad, to sign in support of this letter, and to offer their names as a testimony to our common humanity, to distance ourselves from the destructive policies of our nation's leaders, and to extend our hands to you.
With such pain, friendship might be too much to ask. Please accept our apology, our sorrow, our care, and our dedication to change from the inside out. We are doing what we can to speak out against the wars and military policies responsible for what happened to you and your loved ones. Our hearts are open to hearing how we can take any steps to support you through the pain that we have caused.
Solemnly and Sincerely,
Josh Stieber, former specialist, U.S. Army
Ethan McCord, former specialist, U.S. Army
20min gap in wikileaks video
http://kennysideshow.blogspot.com/2010/04/wikileaks-video-missing-moment...
There is a lot of hype going with this video. Even Amy Goodman is covering it so i suspect it is a ploy of some type. Just the same, those journalists are dead and the US military murder machine goes on
wiki>>BUMP<<leaks
Wikileaks is again being discussed on 911blogger, and user camusrebel is a lone voice of caution about them. I will add my voice to camusrebel's, and invite discussion on this topic. Basically I see it this way--if wikileaks didn't exist, and I were a sekrit government operative of some stripe or another, I would definitely create it. I would slip it a few useless but apparently sensational bits like maybe a video of troops killing people (I am shocked--SHOCKED! that troops in a war zone are shooting at people indiscriminately!) and having established a solid reputation as an organization that clearly had the public interest in mind, would start using it to spread--wait for it--DISINFORMATION! This disinformation could be aimed at activists, or at gullible agents of other intel agencies.
Now let's suppose that I didn't want to go through the trouble of creating my own wiki for leaks. Suppose an enterprising, honest frenchman did it instead. What might I do then? Well, I would certainly "leak" a whole bunch of stuff to them. And most of that stuff might be... wait for it! DISINFORMATION!
What I would want to be sure of, either way, is that my trusty and reliable friends among the controlled left, places like Alternet, Democracy Now, and AntiWar.com all touted my wikileaking op as a great service to humanity that people like me--I mean super sekrit government agents--were VERY unhappy with, to the point of making it seem like the person in charge was afraid to travel for fear of being disappeared by the powers that be.
Finally, if people started suspecting my leaking op might be an op, I would see to it that my Megaphone friends filled the echo chamber with complaints about paranoid people who think EVERYTHING is fake.
I might do a bunch of other things along the same lines, but those are just a few off the top of my head.
oh and one other thing
I would do is to have a known conspiracy monger do a moderately bad job of "exposing" me. David Icke, or maybe Wayne Madsen. But Icke would be best.
Are you referring to this comment? A bit of irony, but yeah
from blogger:
"This clown is just a frontman
He was a very skilled teen-age hacker, but he is not the money or power behind the founding of WLeaks.
Rougue CIA, Mossad, Soros crowd much more likely
What has WLeaks ever put out that has helped our cause of 911Truth? What the hell are they doing with the 260,000 State Dept cables.
When I asked Sibel Edmonds about my suspicions, including if she thought they could be using the cables for blackmail, she reponded, "Camusrebel: Very good questions, indeed".
There is NO REASON this shady bunch should get ANY coverage here at blogger unless and until they break some new ground towards TRUTH.
For all we know, brave souls in NEADS, FAA, NORAD, Secret Service and/or FBI have sent these posers
"smoking gun" type bombshell material, only to be quietly murdered, material destroyed. It is possible.
Potential whistleblowers....if you must use WLeaks, at least send several copies to other sites with instructions that if WLeaks does not run it in a reasonable timeframe , they should."
-------------
The poster asks Sibel Edmonds, who seems skeptical of wikileaks. Good advise, but a case of the teapot calling the kettle black. While i have reason to think Wikileaks may be psy ops, I am almost sure Sibel Edmonds is one herself. What has she done for 9-11 truth except for her lihop stuff.
yes that's the one
and no, there's no reason to trust any of them--by their 9/11 truth fruits we shall know them!
some more
i believe the term i am looking for is
"honeypot"
Do I have rock solid evidence WLeaks is a nefarious bunch of ne'er do wells?
No.
Have they ever published one scintilla that would propel our cause further on down the line to victory?
No.
Can I explain why my spidey sense is all a tingle over these guys? Well, maybe not to everyone's satisfaction but I should make the attempt.

I walked away with were he grew up poor and remained so into adulthood. He was an extremely sucessful teen-age hacker. As often happens in these cases, he got in some trouble with Johnny Law.
So, where did the start up money come from? Did he cut a deal to keep his Assange out of prison?
Then I read an article in a recent New Yorker about him. Very flattering. Glowing. Perhaps a tad over the top. It was written by some character named Raffi Katchadourian. This guy is a product of the Nitse SAIS, where folks like Brezinski and Wolfowitz have been known to hang out. Not really a hot bed of muckraking journalism. Reading bios of the faculty you run into many CFR refs.
Katchadourian also wrote a New Yorker piece on the bloodbath in Iraq. It reads like a love sonnet to some cold blooded killers.
Is Raffi Katchadourian a Mockingbird plant. I'm as free to speculate as the next person and to me it smells bad.
Cleary none of this would stand up in court. My BS detector has been going haywire on this WLeaks org from day one (and I'll admit I do not have an excellent reason why) but in the past it has behooved me to pay it heed.

» Login to post comments 2 points Yes, as a matter of fact, I do rather enjoy
talking to myself. I'm just saying, ok, you cant publish all 260,000 cables, I get it.
How bout like...i dont know....3? That would still leave Soros or whoever is really behind it 250,997 US embassy messages to blackmail your enemies with.
If Sibel Edmonds is leery about this outfit perhaps we should hold off on the ticker tape parades.
Many sites are busy singing the praises of everything Assange. Maybe here we could at least wait till they add something in our quest for TRUTH, or a new investigation.

» Login to post comments 3 points Camus, I'm not saying that
Camus, I'm not saying that I'm completely in line with your "radar" in this case, but I do think it's unfair how quick everyone here is to judge you. One would think such an avante guarde community such as this would know better (deep down they do). But we live in a world in which people don't like to be disagreed with. Myself included. It just feels yucky when we feel we are right. In this case, I think you have every right to express your feelings of dissent. I don't have to agree with them to feel that way. I've learned a valuable lesson throughout my life, and that is...unless and until one is verifyably proven, TRUST NO ONE. And this wikileaks thing (in terms of public awareness) is relatively...no, VERY new. I don't know this Assange guy from a hole in the wall. I DO know there are double-agents in the world and I haven't the foggiest idea of what this man's real intentions are. One thing you said though is very true. And that is that thus far, nothing has come from this organization which advocates for the truth regarding 9/11, which is MY personal issue of choice. Does that make me self-centered. I guess in a way, but mostly I feel that 9/11 truth is THE MOST important political subjectmatter ON THE PLANET. Sure releasing the Collateral Murder video was great, but absolutley, what has transpired so far with regard to that video? Nothing. Business continues on as ususal. That was "like, so April". I do hope that this new Afghani video is released and that it has more traction than what the previous one did. Unlike yourself, I'm not yet judging Assange. He may be a great man who just hasn't discovered 9/11 truth yet. Or had any leaks to his organization concerning this topic. I just don't know. It's not just for ANYONE to judge anyone until they are proven. Assange, for all intents, is still very much...a rookie. Compromise people? Yes? Group-think...no? Oh, and....the real victim in this case is Manning. And I can't even prove that THAT was or wasn't staged. Have you people seen The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus? How about an oldie Twilight Zone episode? Scooby Doo maybe? Truth is stranger than fiction and I don't rule ANYTHING out until I see and hear with my own fuckin senses. All I do know is that the 9/11 truth movement is now several years old and I'm growing very impatient waiting for/working toward critical mass. Very impatient.
Now parse this...
Camusrebel rebuked in patronizing terms for violating site rules by Loose [insert noun] aka Erik Larson for insulting/ad homming Assange and Wikileaks. WTF? And Camusrebel responds by mewling apologies (WTF?) and mentions that whereas his ass has been banned all over the intertubes and he hasn't cared a whit, if he were to be banned from blogger that would really, really hurt.
That whole dialog is sounding muy fake/constructed to me. OTOH, they haven't banned Lillyann yet.
I dont trust anyone who
I dont trust anyone who believes in Sibel Edmonds, my spidey sense just goes haywire. She is either manipulated unknowingly or a disinfo agent. Camus seems to demand a gold standard from wikileaks (which he should), but not from Sibel Edmonds. She is LIHOP all the way.
Right
Camusrebel earns my distrust for his belief in Sibel AND for his assertion that "Wikileaks has done nothing for 9/11 truth = worthless." (Nothing meaning what -- haven't released the pork chop purchase orders?) Then, s/he is involved in this exchange with Erik Larson in which s/he instantly capitulates, which just serves to reinforce the idea that he's a reasonable moderator.
