CBC: The Fifth Estate Airs "9/11 The Unofficial Story"

This multi-part series, aired in Canada on November 29, 2009, purports to give equal time, or a "balanced" treatment of 9/11 "conspiracy theorists" with defenders of the OCT. For a mainstream tv broadcaster, this series has included much more good evidence than any broadcaster in the US has so far. On the other hand, some of the rebunkers they brought in to contradict the truth are positively embarrassing and transparently shill-like - particularly the so-called "internationally recognized demolitions expert" who is even more transparent than the harley guy:

The host begins by pointing out that the latest polls show that a majority of Americans now believe that the "Bush Administration allowed the attacks to happen in some way or another" and that 1/3 of Canadians believe the same.

Another 9/11 story that purposely leaves out some of the most damaging facts while hiring obvious shills to lie and rebunk what has been completely debunked. They even put the 9/11 truth movement in the same class as the moon landing skeptics ;-) It's really amazing that they didn't throw in the old "holocaust denier" comparison canard.

They circumvent the FACT that cell phones can not work at above 8000 feet max, never mind 30,000 feet after they sort of give A.K. Dewdney a chance to discuss it but don't let him provide enough of the information, and then to hide this fact as soon as possible they make sure to highlight the crazy theory that the real airliners were dropped into the ocean…but they never got back to how it is an absolute impossibility for cell phones to work.

But hey, at least the gave some of the most credible 9/11 truth researchers such as Richard Gage and DRG some actual air time on mainstream tv. At least that's a step forward compared to how the mainstream broadcasters usually treat the subject...
