I think there is a paradox involved here... on the one hand, the biased MSM coverage really put a human face on the Iranian people (or more specifically, affluent tech-savvy Iranian urbanites). On the other, it is certainly to the advantage of some that now in many people's perceptions the GOVERNMENT of Iran is not only evil but illegitimate.
