This is a very interesting interview of a former FEMA videographer who claims to have captured ground zero images post 9-11 for which he is now being persecuted by US authorities. He now lives in Argentina.

What a coincidence, general who ordered jets in 9-11 dies in DC

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A former commanding general of the District of Columbia National Guard -- who ordered jets over the Capitol amid the September 11, 2001, terror attacks -- was among those killed in a transit train crash in Washington this week, authorities said Tuesday.
The crash killed retired Maj. Gen. David Wherley Jr., ex-leader of the D.C. National Guard, and his wife, Ann.

Retired Maj. Gen. David F. Wherley Jr. and his wife, Ann, both 62, were killed along with seven others Monday in the most deadly train crash in the history of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

"He was as fine a public servant, as dedicated to the United States of America ... as anyone I have ever met," Washington Mayor Adrian Fenty told reporters Tuesday.

On the morning of the September 11 attacks, Wherley, commander of the 113th Fighter Wing at Andrews Air Force Base, deployed pilots with orders from then-Vice President Dick Cheney to protect the White House and take out any aircraft that threatened the Capitol, according to the 9/11 Commission Report.

"They said challenge them, try to turn them away; if they don't turn away, use whatever force is necessary to keep them from hitting buildings downtown," Wherley told the Washington Post in a 2002 interview.

Wherley, a 40-year military veteran, served as the commanding general of the D.C. Guard from 2003 to 2008.

"I am personally grieved by this unbelievable tragedy," said Maj. Gen. Errol R. Schwartz who succeeded Wherley when he retired.

The Wherleys are survived by a son, David, a noncommissioned officer in the U.S. Army Golden Knights; a daughter, Betsy; and one grandchild, according to the National Guard.

The seven others killed in the collision were: train operator Jeanice McMillan, 42, of Springfield, Virginia; Mary Doolittle, 59; Lavanda King, 23; Veronica Dubose, 26; Cameron Williams, 36; and Dennis Hawkins, 64, all of Washington; and Ana Fernandez, 40, of Hyattsville, Maryland.

I couldnt agree more, this is really shady. Leak the friggin tapes already or shut up. I dont buy it, at least not unless and until these alleged tapes are released. I hope im wrong but it stinks to me too. And yeah, the picture seems staged. Did they turn around and run towards the asshole who was allegedly filming them? I sure would have. The whole thing is weird.

Skepticism is always welcome in this world of double agents. The allusion to Sibel Edmonds occurred me too. If he has something to say or show, he should do it on the internet asap rather than dragging it on. Also the batting average of ex spooks and government connected truth sources or truthers has been quite bad. David Shayler is the worst example, self destructing in public, but others have tended to support lihop or some other limited hangout.

The alleged publisher of his book is the Argintenean subsidiary of a Spanish publishing company founded in 2000: http://www.editorial.planeta.es/00/00.asp

BUT the Argentinean subsidiary's website is under construction: http://www.editorialplaneta.com.ar/

If you are looking to buy the book, good luck--it has no ISBN number as far as I can tell(though the other books on the Spanish publisher's site all seem to) and the only listings I've seen it for sale on are online bidding sites. Furthermore if you google the title most of what you find seems to fall into the category of "buzz creation" - write ups on indymedia sites, etc.

One possibility is that a certain number of copies have been printed but that it's not in actuality being sold in any real way. That would make it possible to have the info in it spread carefully among certain groups without having the general public ever becoming aware of it.

Be interesting to see who promotes it and tries to convince us that it's as big as, say, Steve Alten's Shell Game...

Sonnenfeld's book

I bought Sonnenfeld's book in Buenos Aires a week ago. It's a real book. I just read it in Spanish (I don't know if an English version exists or not). The ISBN is 978-950-49-2057-1.

I honestly don't know what to make of it. There is no smoking gun, and yet a lot of strange things have happened to this man.

Your guess about the truth behind the book is as good as mine--it's certainly a tear-jerker--maybe too much of one!
