Approximately 450 Qassam rockets were fired into Israel between 2003 and 2004. 7,500 rockets have hit Sderot from the period of 2001-2009.Until today, fifteen Israelis have been killed and over 433 injured. Having to catch myself
I posted a link to this blog above but having read more of it I find a recurring theme of paranoia,clannishness,and a people completely full of themselves.I know this is just one guys blog and the people of Israel cant be judged with a broad brush but this latest atrocity in Gaza has me so pissed that my own irrational predjudices and hatreds are starting to emerge.Anyway it is an interesting blog http://eladthegreat.wordpress.com/ but the more I dig into Israel the more I cant stand it.Thats just the honest truth how I feel.

..and I confess, I couldn't read much of it. I don't want to hear the Israelis speak about the "Gaza War." It is not a war. The term "war" implies an even fight. This is a slaughter of innocents herded into a detention area. "Defending themselves" against bottle rockets? When 12 or 15 or 20

massacre hundreds of starving people with little or no access to
weapons to defend themselves, let alone medical supplies, food, water,

I've been away on vacation and since returning have been recovering from the flu. The criminal assault on Gaza started on my second day of vacation or so and I was more or less deprived of decent internet access until my return so I'm having to catch up a bit on what's going on.
I understand how frustrating it is to sit by and have to witness Israel's actions and the majority of the world's non-reaction but there's something not too helpful about the approach taken by folks like the commenter you cite. Without getting into how much of that may or may not be true (I bet some of it is and some of it isn't) what people need to try to understand is just how much attitudes like that play right into the Zionist and yes, chauvinistic Judaist brainwashing of those who for whatever reason including many legitimate ones identify as "Jewish".
At the core of the problem here is not simply the idea of Zionism or the religion of Judaism--both are complex and potentially problematic as any political movement and/or religion is bound to be, it is the cynicism of a particular elite class that uses both as a shield from scrutiny. If there are a number of rather egregious examples of "Jewish" criminals like Bernie Madow and Larry Silverstein, to the point where one can say that they seem overrepresented when compared to the percentage of the world's people who are Jewish, we can certainly acknowledge that and discuss it (or should be able to anyway) in the same way that we are able to discuss the relatively high incidence of out of wedlock births in the black and latino communities. We should also be able to look at the Torah and Talmud just as we look at the Koran with an eye to how they can be used to justify bigotry, racism, hatred, cheating, etc.
What is most important is that the terms of tehse critiques be made clearly and not in ways that can be lumped in with critiques that are deliberately made from positions of hatred themselves. Those types of critiques serve to make those who identify as Jewish but who for whatever reason are unaware or blind to the bigger picture of "Judeo-centric criminality" feel threatened and thereby drawn closer to the very criminals who need them as human shields. That is what the whole holocaust protection racket has served to do--to warn your ordinary everyday Jewish kid that "you either hang tight with your crew... or else." This was not invented by the Zionists--I am convinced that the religious authorities that ruled over the Jews of the ghettoes throughout Europe used similar tactics.
I really only see two options given that Judaism is not going to be banned or disappeared from th earth and that is that like so many other isms it will have to reinvent itself purged of chauvinism and of its "us vs the world" mentality. This will never happen so long as enough people identifying (quite innocently in their minds) as Jewish are convinced that there really is something wrong with being who they are (in the minds of the world.) Whether or not we here "disagree with you that much" remains to be seen--it depends on what you think about these things. Do you think, for instance, that there is nothing about Judaism or Jewishness that is NOT corrupt? That the whole "Jewish" thing is 100% bad? If so then perhaps we SHOULD part ways. But if your frustration over the sickening acts of the Zionist (so-called Jewish) State are coloring your view of what is indeed a VERY complicated set of issues, then the best thing would be to have those difficult conversations here. Agreed. Some folks at the top are using the rest. Of course, the rest may not yet be cognizant of their role. But they should certainly know by now that donating to Israel likely means that they are helping to eradicate a people from the earth. If they buy into the Holohoax narrative, they may even (mistakenly) feel such violence is justified to stave off another such event; but their violence against the helpless Palestinians is one of the things likely to bring a convulsion of jew-hatred, so such behavior is self-fulfilling. So-called everyday Jews have got to wake up. Sure, they're not in on the shenanigans at the top, but they write checks to Israel, and support Yeshiva schools like the one in NYC that spews out hatred. My first reaction is - who has the time to comb the Torah for something nice? I do have a copy handy, but I'll have to get back to you on whether anything in there is nice. I used to think that the 10 commandments were fairly good (e.g., 'thou shalt not kill') but now I think, based on observation of world events, that these commandments must only apply to other jews. A jewish man can take several hundred concubines, for example, if none are married to another jewish man.
My second reaction is that you are being a tad illogical. By analogy , if thereis something good in Mein Kampf, I should embrace that, too. And if I've said something nice somewhere else on this blog, then you should not ban me. Think about my "Little Church of Discovery." If I added something hateful to that list, you shouldn't ban me, since most of it is very nice and pleasant.
I AM sickened, and find it hard to be rational. I feel like we are at war. What is to stop them from attacking us in this way? Penning us into camps, starving us, blocking us from medical care and water and sanitation, and then picking us off? Exploding bombs timed for just when our kid get out of school? Blocking journalists and the Red Cross? Just because you call an ideology a religion doesn't make it immune from criticism as inflammatory hate speech. You do not use precious resources - partcularly if you are on the ropes, to load them into cattle tricks and send them at great trouble and logistics across Europe to put them in a camp to gas them and burn them up.

The whole concept of 'extermination' camps is farcical.
The Germans were at least a little efficient and intelligent. They wanted them to work and with a little effort you can find photos on the internet showing quite graphically that these camps were used for this purpose.
The truth is coming out after 60 years of how towards the end of the war and after, some three million Germans died from starvation and cold. Like Gaza today, Iraq, Serbia, 'sanctions' were on the Germans. Food and other things were withheld. The German people were starved. So were the people in the Labour camps. The Germans fed their own first. I am sure 'Tree' is sufficiently enlightened to have let his children starve whilst he fed others. Most of us feed our own first - so did the Germans.
The allies starved everyone as successfully as they could. Like Madeleine Albright - (jewish) they thought 500,000 dead children worth the effort. It was war and possibly marginally more excusable than Albright's and Clinton's brutality. It was cruel and frankly the allied attack on German Civilians, we now recognise as a war crime.
