Obama's CFR essay 2007

After reading this I came to the conclusion that Obama will simply carry on (with some minor adjustments) the same global dominace agenda of the past.Much of the wording I imagine is with a wink and a nod to his future masters.Pages 3 + 4 are particularly telling. http://www.foreignaffairs.org/20070701faessay86401-p0/barack-obama/renew...
There is nothing 'renewing' at all just the same old bullshit.Especially this quote "our starting point must always be a clear and strong commitment to the security of Israel, our strongest ally in the region and its only established democracy"

Hi Gulu, I couldn't find
Hi Gulu,
I couldn't find that quote you mentioned (our starting point...democracy'). Where is it in the essay exactly?
This CFR talk appears to play most of the greatest hits that require funding, produce profit for CFR members, and help manipulate people through fear:
war on terror
homeland security
global warming
war on aids (plus avian flu now and malaria)
Notice he never says he's going to withdraw from Iraq. He never says that he's going to stop torture/rendition. He never says that he's going to help poor people in the US. It's all bullshit, erudite but still bullshit.

Hey E
That quote is on page 2,4th paragraph. Also we hear Obama come right out and say he has no problem with preemptive war/the Bush doctrine "We must also consider using military force in circumstances beyond self-defense in order to provide for the common security that underpins global stability".blah blah blah. We changed puppets Nov. 4 but the puppet master remains the same.
New Blog Post Problem
New blog entries made after this one are not appearing on the front page. Hiccups are getting worse. Seems that WTCD-TV may not have been the culprit after all.
I hate that this crap is happening for you G. I know how difficult it is trying to fix this kind of crap. I would try and research it further for you but, the custom error message doesn't give any useful information at all.

hi dtater
well, the blog post problem isn't really a problem--we've decided to follow the lead of our good friends at 911blogger and be selective about what gets promoted to the front page. don't worry, your blog posts will still appear in the "recent blog post list" so we aren't totally shunning user contributions. Instead what we hope to accomplish is to save the front page for anything and everything that is m,ost interesting and relevant.
As for the hiccups, clicking refresh is the best way around them and given their bizarre coming and going I have never ruled out foul play, which can't really be very easily "fixed".
No prob
Oh. Just noticed it to be an anomoly. I guess I missed the announcement of selective front page. No prob. I did see that new blogs were listed in the "recents" list, though. So, I never thought that any shunning was going on.
I'm able to get around the problem of double posts, etc. that hiccups create with refresh and a couple of other tricks. Recurring software niggles like these hiccups are annoying as hell. When things like that occur within the sphere of machines I manage, I get a little obsessive about eradicating them. I have to do that quite a lot because so many of the gullible people for whom I provide services make themselves easy targets for all manner of Windoze malware.
