Democratorship -- uniformity masking as diversity

It's never been better illustrated than this. In case the electronic voting machines don't perform as expected, there remains free choice between neolib authoritarians and...neolib authoritarians!

Pick your poison.

I'll have the meatloaf

not on the menu, eh? OK, so... left and right, authoritarian and libertarian--those are quaint dichotomies. How about a Zionist axis (no pun intended) on the chart? Like, among the candidates above, which represent the interest of Likud (rapid genocide of Palestinians) versus Liberal Zionism (slow fading away of Palestinians)? Don't we have a RIGHT to decide on our flavor of Zionism??

hey, is Kucinich really more libertarian than Ron Paul? Isn't Kucinich a gun-grabber? Does uterus grabbing count against you more on the libertarian score?

I agree, Paul's coordinates are up for debate...

anyway, the zionist axis value can be derived directly from presstitute media coverage. Oh Bummer, Shillary, Ghouliani -- they're all scoring high!

But the worst part is: People will have deserved being enslaved if they keep being so appalingly apathetic regarding all this. (I'm kinda down these days, sorry)

Question for bruce

It's my turn to be holed up at the beach this week, reading the blog on my blackberry and not commenting for fear of repetitive stress injury to my thumbs, but...

My favorite German loan word by far is "schadenfreude" -- so useful. There wouldn't happen to be something that could serve as an opposite or inverse, would there? We use the s-word to mean taking a naughty sort of pleasure in the misfortune of another -- but what about being bummed out by something good happening to someone else -- for instance, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court finding out he does *not* have a terminal brain tumor? ;)

freudenschade?

just reversing the terms, does that work Bruce??

why is everyone at the ebach except me? :( I feel... freudenschade...

Hey Bruce, perk up! Even if the world goes to hell in a handbasket, at least we know we've escaped the cage of ignorance! Sure it's scary out here as we get our bearings, and not knowing what the bad people are capable of as they see their power melt away, but think about it--we really have won already. Now we're just looking for more winners! The bad people lost already--they lost their humanity long ago. Nothing they gain by their illicit means can ever return it to them.

We love you Bruce! All of us here in the land of misfit truthers!
