"And Senator Biden, when did you stop beating your wife?"

This is pretty fucking funny -- local anchorwench for an ABC affiliate asks Biden some of the cringe-worthiest questions ever. They're so awful he eventually asks her if the interview is a joke.

Resume

Looks like she's going to add this to her resume when she applies at Fox news. The media really is a joke.Embarasing, shameful and pathetic.

It's about time but, her timing sucks.

The interview smells of bad theatre to me.

Or was her timing right? No doubt Biden has had time to prepare for questions like this. For some strange reason, it seemed perhaps a bit scripted though and, Biden was way to quick with all the "right" answers with nary a stumble.

I don't know why the questions should make you cringe. They were questions that should be asked by someone. Were they tryin to head off the WAC boys at the pass? Have we just grown so accustomed to softball, crony propagandistic journalism from teevee bobbleheads that these kinds of questions seem rude, offensive, uncalled for, and out of place? Is Obama a Marxist? Seems to me he leans heavily on that post.

If "spreading the wealth" simply means giving the middle class tax breaks then, why not say so from the get go? There is no way to spread the wealth of others unless you first take it, though. There is no dicussion of reducing or eliminating taxation and the IRS AND also reducing the size and scope of government. Oh no. Can't have that. Must....keep....feeding....federal...leviathon....more. Must....keep....growing.

The bigger the government grows, the more opressive it has become. That is its nature. It makes sense to me to do whatever it takes to shrink the tumor.

I've got a better idea. If the Federal Reserve in collusion with the federal government can print money at will, creating it from nothing, whenever they fucking feel like it then, why even the need for taxation of an individual's income? Why not just print it like we have watched them do of late?

Answer is...... ding, ding, ding:

KONTROL. It's all about kontrol.

Why is tax law written in gibberish, legalese requiring thousands and thousands of pages? That's a reall easy question to answer. It's to keep you from reading it. But, that's not law. That's totalitarianism because it then is left up to "special monkeys in robes" and their bar brethren to tell you what the law says because only they have the magic Captain Crunch decoder ring.

KONTROL!

Common sense should tell us that if it requires an advanced degree from an "accredited" institution to decode the law, know to whom it applies and under what circumstances... then, that law should only apply to "them" that possess the decoder ring.

Stealing wealth via inflation that invariably results from inflating the money supply is certainly less onerous than IRS terrorism. But, it doesn't help make managable slaves.

Hardly anyone wants to read the Constitution. So, hardly anyone knows of the limitations imposed upon the taxing authority of CONgress.

Government loves me this I know. For the media tells me so.

Conventional wisdom, Of course I owe an income tax" (ignorance) coupled with the threat of force and violence always magnified by the media during tax terrorism season keeps the scheme alive.

I'm going to go with Gulu's analysis...

What's the word for the collection of video snippets someone in this line of work uses in conjunction with a resume? Reel? Was this just "for her reel" because she does aspire to work at Fox? I can't think of any better reason for someone to ask such histrionic questions with such deadpan delivery, and not bust out laughing when Biden asks if it's a joke

You can disagree with Obama's economic strategy, but it most certainly isn't Marxist in any meaningful sense. It might even be useful to call it socialist -- but "Marxist" implies a whole kit'n'kaboodle of historical and economic analysis and theory which is soooo not where Democrats are going. That was just a retarded question.

And just to clarify...

I called them cringeworthy because they ARE so retarded -- that's the extent of the problem I have with asking them.
