What to make of this new development, that YT has generously volunteered space on the TruthAction forum for discussions of 911b posts?

The team members at 911blogger.com want to focus on 9/11 News, OpEds, and original content, and regret that we can't be all things to everyone in the 911blogger community. Hopefully, a moderated forum will be good for everyone.

I think at this point I would pay money to know what is going on behind the scenes over there that has led board admins to think a pathetic dribble of moderated comments is preferable to the vibrant discursive community that used to exist. Did anyone else notice the timing with the attack on the 911researchers site by John Albanese? Now, I am no fan of that site's owner and principle users, but provoking the host into shutting the whole thing down, rather than removing the questionable material, was an extreme move. Could Albanese, whose panties have been twisted into a tight bunch by events at 911blogger on more than one occasion, have perhaps indicated that a similar attack might be in the offing if admins there did not enact a complete stranglehold on commentary? Obviously, this is complete speculation.

For me, the board at truthaction is not even close to an adequate substitute. For the most part, this is because I much prefer the Drupal format for discussions to the php forum model -- but I know some people feel just the opposite, and I hope they'll take YT up on this very generous plan to share resources. As for myself, I will continue to shamelessly rip off what ever is useful from Apt. 911B, while looking increasingly to the right-hand column of this site for news and commentary.
