911 Truth On Independance Day
Hopefully everyone had a great time with family and friends on July 4th. I know I did. A very interesting day for me and for 9/11 Truth. I'd like to post this as an open thread for everyone to post there 911 Truth related Independence Day stories.
If you took a 9/11 Truth break then that's cool too.
All I have to say is damn! If my soon to be father-in-law is tossing around the '911 was an inside job' notion....then way more people then I ever imagined are on this train. Well, maybe they aren't exactly on the train yet, but they are at least considering purchasing a ticket.
I brought it up about 3/4 of the way into the night. "Do you know how many buildings collapsed on 9/11?". As usual no one did. Well a few people did but they are my usual 9/11 Truth buddies that I have been discussing these issues with for a few years now.
I broke the seal with the WTC 7 question... and the water just broke. Everyone erupted into a 9/11 Truth rant frenzy! It was strange but awesome! It was like everyone was already thinking about this and when I brought it up it just sort of tore down the levy.
My father-in-law was the last person on my 9/11 Truth hit list. I've exposed every single family, friend, and co-worker that I can think of to 9/11 Truth. Out of about 15 Pennsylvania natives, young and old, not one apposed the notion. You would think you would have atleast one guy who might not get vocal but would be sort of quiet and thinking that we were all nuts and that Bush is protecting us from evil. Nope. It was like a 9/11 Truth rant free for all.
Anyway, the question I've had trouble with is "how do you activate someone who is open to 9/11 truth?".
I met a new friend at this party and I posed the exact same question above. She responded that people will not activate because the country is divided. Basically, she claimed there were no activist...especially on this topic!
She was projecting. If she were to actually look for 9/11 Truth activities she will find them in every city and every state. I'm sitting here with my father-in-law, a Bush supporter to the core (used to be), and we are no longer divided.
But as fast as it came, it went away. Not more then 10 minutes after the 9/11 Truth eruption where 15 people, young and old, were ranting about, not only the possibility...but the likely hood that 9/11 was an inside job, it left and we were talking about American Idol.

Thanks for sharing, and glad it went so well for you, Jpass. For the first time in years, my husband and I did not attend the customary party on the lake with fireworks, Irish cops and Filippinos, Hurray for the USA, Go Navy! Go Yankees! crowd. Very fun group but am tired of the political bullying I get every time I venture into that type of discussion. So we lay kinda low and attended a "Sicko" showing with another couple. The theater was full! Mr. Moore is really something else. Wouldn't it be awesome if his next film/docu were to be on 9/11? - he could do it so well: tongue-in-cheek, clever, heartbreaking with comic relief, as was Sicko. Although I was tempted to bring some kind of 9/11 handouts, the ole man said it would make him uncomfortable, as it definitely would have my friends, who, although progressive intellectual anti-bush and anti-war dems, have yet to get on the page with me no matter how much i argue the points. They are my dear jewish friends. it's a challenge.
anyway, back to sicko, am tempted to attend another showing solo and git-er-done.
