In al-CIA-duh news, NBC News is reporting that intelligence and law enforcement sources are "expecting al Qaeda supporters will post a new video on the Internet in the next 24 hours, calling for jihadists to use biological, chemical and nuclear weapons to attack the West."  "There have been several reports that al Qaeda will release a new message calling for the use of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) against civilians," claims FBI spokesman Richard Kolko. Since Islam clearly prohibits any attacks on civilians, and since the FBI knows exactly when they will release their videotapes and what the topics will be, informed sources wonder just who these so-called "al Qaeda supporters" really are.

Meanwhile, the recent flurry of bogus "al Qaeda" and "Bin Laden" tapes has refocused attention on the likelihood that Bin Laden had nothing to do with 9/11 and died as long ago as December, 2001. Bloggers are posting reminders that the FBI says Bin Laden is "not wanted" for 9/11 because there is "no hard evidence" against him. They are posting his repeated denials of involvement in 9/11, including one published in the Pakistani newspaper Ummat in September, 2001: "I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle." That was Osama Bin Laden, not only denying any involvement, but actually deploring the biggest terrorist attack in history.

In a story headlined Ex-Press Aide Writes That Bush Misled U.S. on Iraq, the Washington Post reports that "'Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan writes in a new memoir that the Iraq war was sold to the American people with a sophisticated 'political propaganda campaign' led by President Bush and aimed at 'manipulating sources of public opinion' and 'downplaying the major reason for going to war.'" The Post's sudden discovery that Bush was lying about the reasons for invading Iraq amuses informed observers, who expect the Post to also report that the Pope is Catholic, bears do defecate in the woods, and Copernicus has recently revealed that the earth actually revolves around the sun.

Bush's lies will cost the world six trillion dollars in higher energy costs alone, according to a leading oil economist. Dr Mamdouh Salameh, a World Bank advisor, has told the UK newspaper The Independent that the price of oil would now be under $40 a barrel, instead of $135 a barrel, if the US had not invaded Iraq. That would translate to two dollar a gallon gas at the pump, instead of the current four dollars. Unfortunately, far from learning from his mistakes, Bush now apparently intends to usher in $10-a-gallon gasoline by lying to invade Iran.

Finally, in women's fashion meets Dunkin' Donuts news...racist Fox propagandist Michelle Malkin has successfully pressured Dunkin' Donuts to pull an add featuring a donut-eating woman wearing a scarf. Why? Because the scarf looks too much like the keffiyeh, the traditional Arab scarf. Anti-Arab racist Michelle Malkin apparently sees the beautiful donut-eating woman as a fanatical terrorist just because she's wearing a scarf that's sort of Arab looking.

In today's 9/11 truth news...former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura will be appearing on the Dynamic Duo radio show with Jim Fetzer of Scholars for 9/11 truth for a full two hours, today, Wednesday, May 28th on http://www.gcnlive.com network 4.   This will be Governor Ventura's most extensive interview ever on a 9/11 truth radio program. Jesse Ventura is expected to discuss his impending candidacy for the Senate as well as the unresolved questions of 9/11 and related issues.

Speaking of Jim Fetzer, the professor emeritus of scientific reasoning is winning applause from 9/11 truth supporters for his efforts to bury the hatchet with physics professor Steven Jones. Fetzer and Jones were formerly co-chairs of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, which split into two groups in early 2007 after the co-chairs had a falling out. Yesterday Fetzer put out a statement applauding Steven Jones' recent work:  "I have tremendous admiration for Steve's recent paper 'Fourteen Points of Agreement with Official Government Reports on the World Trade Center Destruction,' co-authored by Frank M. Legge, Kevin R. Ryan, Anthony F. Szamboti, and James R. Gourley. I think it is brilliant the way the authors made their points by 'agreeing' with NIST and FEMA." Fetzer also said he welcomes Steven Jones' thermate research, while remaining convinced that other mechanisms along with thermate would have been necessary to produce the full range of effects witnessed during the destruction of the World Trade Center. Shortly after Fetzer issued his statement, physicist Steven Jones appeared on Kevin Barrett's 9/11 and Empire radio show and welcomed Fetzer's remarks. Jones has never denied that mechanisms other than thermate may have been involved in the destruction of the World Trade Center. He simply argues that positive proof of the use of thermate, which his laboratory work appears to have provided, represents the kind of scientific evidence that is likely to hold up in court; while he and other scientists associated with Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Justice have argued that thus far, no equally strong evidence for other causal mechanisms has been produced.

 In war-on-Iran news, the Asia Times quotes an informed source as saying the Bush-Cheney regime intends to launch airs strikes on Iran within the next two months. According to the source, US senators Diane Feinstein and Richard Lugar were briefed on the attack, and planned to try to avert the strike by publishing an op-ed in the New York Times. But that editorial has yet to appear.

In war-on-freedom news, the Guardian has reported that a graduate student in England was arrested, jailed for six days, and subjected to "psychological torture" for conducting academic research on the internet.  Twenty-two-year-old Rizwaan Sabir was held under the Terrorism Act for downloading material on al-Qaida from a US government website. Informed sources point out that if Mr. Sabir considered the US government, which is by far the world's largest and most murderous terrorist organization, a reliable source, he might conceivably be considered at least vaguely complicit in the acts of US government terrorism that have murdered millions of people around the world, described by William Blum as "the American holocaust." But according to those same informed sources, academic freedom IS supposed to protect even those who trust such murderous terrorist organizations as the US government.

Finally, in al-CIA-duh news, the Associated Press reports that the CIA is interested in those jockeying to replace bin Laden in a predicted 'succession crisis.' It sounds like the CIA is having a casting call to see who they can promote as the next great super-villain.
