The Danger of Fearmongering - or LOOKOUT!! Mossad Planning to Attack America This Summer!

This is from the shills at 911blogger. When I read crap like this, I just imagine Chertoff getting the word from Mossad that it's time to start warning about an "al Qaeda" attack so as to create the proper context for blaming them right off the bat with no investigation... Note of course that it's all about Bush wanting to attack America before his term is up. Oh yeah, and the CIA.

I'm going to start playing the game too. Whenever I hear crap like this I will interpret it as a threat by Mossad, then when it happens we will all know who really did it. OK, look out people--apparently Mossad is going to attack America this summer!

Though I have paid little attention to it until now, Brian Ross' "Blotter" at ABC News is really beginning to look like a cipher for CIA leaks. He routinely makes tenuous links between otherwise unrelated events, and at every chance prints stories such as the one below, which cites "secret" sources who say another 9/11 is on the way. Normally, I would attribute stories like this to fear-mongering; however, given that Bush is a lame duck president, and given that an invasion of Iran must happen before the year of the election (2008), I take these oblique warnings very seriously. We must advocate aggressively this summer. This is Bush's last chance to stage another terror attack, and we know what a second 9/11 will do to the remnants of freedom in America.

Official Cites Resemblance to Warnings and Intelligence Before 9/11

July 1, 2007 — A secret U.S. law enforcement report, prepared for the Department of Homeland Security, warns that al Qaeda is planning a terror "spectacular" this summer, according to a senior official with access to the document.

"This is reminiscent of the warnings and intelligence we were getting in the summer of 2001," the official told ABCNews.com.

U.S. officials have kept the information secret, and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said today on ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" that the United States did not have "have any specific credible evidence that there's an attack focused on the United States at this point."

As ABCNews.com reported, U.S. law enforcement officials received intelligence reports two weeks ago warning of terror attacks in Glasgow and Prague, the Czech Republic, against "airport infrastructure and aircraft."

The warnings apparently never reached officials in Scotland, who said this weekend they had received "no advance intelligence" that Glasgow might be a target.

Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff declined to comment specifically on on the report today, but said "everything that we get is shared virtually instantaneously with our counterparts in Britain and vice versa."

Unlike the United States, officials in Germany have publicly warned that the country could face a major attack this summer, also comparing the situation to the pre-9/11 summer of 2001.
