Gay Bombs
A few days ago, an Orthodox Jewish suicide bomber was apprehended by Israeli officials before he had a chance to set off his bomb at the Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade (Orthodox Jews have a problem with gays). We didn’t hear a lot about this, as Jews are always supposed to be victims, and by definition can’t be terrorists. Had he succeeded, he no doubt would have been described as the victim, and an Arab body would have been chosen to be the terrorist. Then the usual typists would have written their opinion pieces wondering what is it in the ‘Arab mind’ that makes the Palestinians so prone to suicide bombing.
It is the gay press that has noticed that one of the latest London ‘bombs’ was on the route of the Gay Pride Parade, and the other parked nearby. The parade was scheduled for the day following the parking of the two cars (although the gay press is downplaying the obvious connection, presumably not to reduce attendance). The car on the route of the parade had been seen being driven ‘erratically’. presumably so it would be noticed (it actually drove into garbage bins in front of a busy nightclub), and had gasoline inside in full view (with labeled containers in case anyone was really slow). The shrapnel was spread on the floor, where it would have had no or little effect, and the police seem to be having difficulty describing the detonator, leading me to believe there wasn’t one. this is timely, was just having a conversation with family over the weekend regarding the incidence and motivations for suicide bombers. Read Robert Pape on this subject.

because they don't drink the zionist kool aid unlike some of the other orthodox sects. you have to understand that when you're talking orthodox it really depends on the rabbis involved. some rabbis are even considered the Messiah by their followers. this is a big problem, namely that we can talk all we want about how bad Islam is and all tehir radical Imams but we can't have a similar conversation about extreme versions of judaism. as with any tradition there are good and bad versions... a lot also has to do with political power--some orthodox groups are represented by political parties and others aren't!
oh but if you mean
are they down with gay people? i have no idea and suspect not, but who knows. see, Israel is just as schizophrenic as the US - this is why we have to somehow get people, that is ordinary folk who are not political ideologues, to take responsibility all over the world for getting psychopaths and sociopaths OUT of positions of power. reconciliation will be slow going but we have to start somewhere...

i have a feeling from what i read, they are anti gay pride - "abomination" talk and all.
i just hope that the "apprehended" was not one of them because i dig their anti-zionism stance and protest.
