Truthing 4 Hillary Supporters In Asheville

A quick blog about my experience tonight.

Hillary supporters Truthed tonight during her 'rally' in Asheville, NC. She came to town for a political rally.

I started rushing to make a sign at 4pm. I decided to use a sheet with some paint. The sign came out good but I didn't have anyone to hold the other end. I was going to rig up the sign up with a few mic stands but it didn't work. And I didn't want to be the fool with a sheet blowing in the wind, all wrapped up in my own message. My roommate helped me make the sign but refused to help me hold it.

So I started a second sign that I could hold myself. Two smaller ones actually. "Re-investigate 9/11" and "Stop Blaming Muslims".

Me and my buddy headed down town. At the civic center we parted ways. He was going to see 'Hill' from inside the civic center and I was there to address Clinton supporters. I could tell he felt uncomfortable so I stayed across the street with a Ron Paul Sign Guy facing the civic center.

About 10 mins. after I started holding my signs, a 30-something guy with flip-flops walked across the street to give me a hand-shake and comments of support.

Then my first test. The Ron Paul Sign Guy asked me: "So why don't you blame Muslims?".

I had my responses ready. I wasn't there to talk, yell, scream NWO Scum or anything. I was there to hold up my message. Obviously, the question is pretty ridiculous. "Why don't you blame Muslims for 9/11?". My response, which was repeated many times over the night was something like:

Have you followed the Miami 7 and Toronto 18 Terror Cell arrests? Ok, well I have. Did you know that Muslims are beig set up in the USA and Canada by law enforcement agencies? Informants are being paid tens of thousands even MILLIONS of dollars. In the Miami 7 case, one defendant was acquitted at the first trial. A mis-trial was declared in the 1st AND 2nd trials of the other 6 'suspects'. The prosecution wants to try the 6 remaining defendants AGAIN, for a THIRD TIME.

So if the USA and Canada is setting up Muslims as terrorists in 2005...why not 9/11/2001?

The argument worked well for most people that approached me.

Next, I took a stroll down some of the side streets that had lines of people on one side. I would stand on the other side of the sidewalk with my signs. Tons of people saw me. Most seemed apathetic. A few were very negative. One miserable looking lady walked by and said, in a rough smoker voice: "Ahhh...git over it". Not sure what she is so bitter about.

Another funny story: A cop started walking up to me and I asked him nicely if I was not in a good spot. He calmly said I needed to move to the beginning of the street (about 20 ft away.) As I picked up my signs a couple people started clapping because they thought the officer told me to leave. So, after about 10 steps...I was in the 'ok' zone. This put me right in front of the haters who were clapping...so I put on my shit-eating grin on and opened my sign REAL BIG for them to see. It was great. They seemed so surprised that I was facing them after they applauded what they thought was me being booted. I smiled at them and the group that was clapping seemed timid all of a sudden and would not even make eye contact with me.

After doing this on 3 of the side streets that were packed with people, I decided to go back to the front door of the civic center. I asked an officer if I could go up by the front entrance and display my sign. "Go ahead" he said. Sweet!

That is where I stayed for the rest of the night.

I met so many cool people. By far a more positive response then negative. Other intresting things that happened:

1. I met an old guy who asked me if I heard of TruthRevolution Radio. I said no but then remember I had. He asked if I knew Cosmos and said Cosmos stayed at his house a while back. Cool, I worked with Cosmos a few years ago.

2. A guy came up to me and started talking to me about his 'Special Forces Buddy' who was involved with some investigation relating to the Egyptian massacre in the late 90's. He said that his buddy told him that the massacre (can't remember the name of the event) was organized by US & Israeli agents. Later he popped up again to tell me that he "shouldn't be telling (me) this" but he knows people involved with the Michigan Militia and they have the government under surveillance. He described some large financial crime the militia caught both parties invovled in....I wasn't sure what that was all about.

3. I met a very nice lady who was there for IVAW.Org (Iraq Veterans Against the War). She was definitely an ally. She saw me with my signs and brought her huge sign right next to me and introduced her self. She gave me a number and said "any time you need someone to hold your larger sign, call me".

4. A guy came up to me with his two 4 year old fraternal twins on each hand. He gave me the head nod of approval and then asked me who I was affiliated with. "No one". He asked me about Loose Change and then told me to keep it up and that he talks to his friends and family about 9/11/2001. He said they think he's crazy.

5. Two giggly 8th grade girls came up to me and asked "who do you think did 9/11?". So I explained that I can't answer that question because of the speculation involved. All I can tell you is that the government has not proven it's case but it HAS waged a Terror War in the name of it's official 9/11 explanation. I told them about the Miami and Toronto Muslim Set-ups. As they left, the one girl says "My teacher thinks 9/11 was totally an inside job and the trade centers were destroyed with explosives."

I will post some more images that a photographer took of my signage and better images of the large crowd...so stay tuned. Another guy even did a video interview so I'll keep my eye out for that. He gave me his youtube name and said to watch for it.
