Jewish Liberals to Launch A Counterpoint to AIPAC

perhaps this is old news around here? Anyway I thought it was an interesting story I read today;
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/04/14/AR2008041402647.html (Wash Post Story)
Martin Indyk, a former U.S. ambassador to Israel and the director of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution,
said the group "has a very steep hill to climb because peacemaking has
acquired a bad reputation over the years in the Jewish community, and
there is a widespread fear that U.S. intervention on behalf of peace
will lead to pressure on Israel."

that's funny
Today as I truthed during lunch there was a table set up by the "Progressive Jewish Alliance". To show you how progressive they are, they were calling for a freeze in settlement expansion. Yay! Ostensible diversity, actual uniformity. Instead of insane lunatic policies we will see policies that are simply bad being promoted. I'll be proven wrong if this new group calls for 9/11 truth otherwise it's just another PJA...

yeah i noticed 9/11 truth
seems glaringly absent from their agenda. I wondered if it's sort of like the fake truth movement, to placate the REAL progressive Jews with thoughts that the tide is turning. Or if these people really do have good intentions? It's so hard to know for sure.
well, let's hope they're learning
I admit I was prob a bit harsh--was in a bad mood today (slow for truthing) but it turned around--had a lovely chat with a very nice lady, studying theology, has a truther son, and had never heard of DRG. you could just hear the pieces falling into place. :)
