that 75% of Americans have even heard of Roswell, let alone think a UFO crashed there. in any case here is the report of that poll--http://www.cnn.com/US/9706/15/ufo.poll/

aside from saying it sampled 1024 adults and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3%, there is little revealed about the way the poll was conducted, so its hard to gauge its reliability--assuming of course it was not invented out of whole cloth, possibly to coincide with some CNN/Time parent company alien movie or TV show. I'd be curious to see any other polls conducted by other organizations to see how their results compare...
