i saw Rudolph Nuryev and Margot Fontaine perform there once long ago on a starry Near Eastern summer's eve....twas only 12, very impressionable. as i was telling Mostafa last evening at the end of that moving commemorative Nagasaki event...and he said"you have definitely been moved, Kate,  by your middle eastern experience!"

George Bush was just interviewed on the Olympics....casual, suave, arrogant, the lean and uh-huhs gallore.  The Chinese need to allow human rights, religion, to bring about peace. i fkn then hurriedly printed out the second half of your excellent post, Laz, proceeded to interrupt the reverie and read it to my almost taken in but not quite taken in loved ones, wanting to believe, that he is a good man, wanting to be proud of our President, of America ...with as much Toth-style power, passion -swear words and all -as i could mimmick and muster.
