How Mossad Operates

In August 1979, Jimmy Carter’s U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., former Atlanta mayor Andrew Young, was forced to resign his U.N. post after Israeli intelligence leaked to the American press the news of his meeting with Zuhdi Terzi, the P.L.O.’s official observer to the U.N. This was highly controversial at the time because Henry Kissinger had promised Israel that no U.S. government official would talk to the P.L.O. Since May 14, 1948, the Israelis have always loathed the concept of non-violent diplomacy anyways, except, of course, for PR purposes. Nevertheless, in the press reports of the time it was reported that it was Israeli intelligence, or Ha Mossad (‘the Company’) that had learned of this meeting, after which, Israeli government officials provided information regarding the meeting to the media. In reaction to the press revealing that this information had ultimately come from Mossad, the Israeli embassy’s press liaison denied that it was Mossad who had learned of the meeting, or indeed leaked such information to the media, and this Israeli embassy spokesperson then told the Washington Star, “We do not conduct any kind of intelligence activities in the U.S.”(1) This statement, of course, is like the old canard that the Israel Lobby doesn’t control the U.S. Congress, Senate, White House, and the American electoral process.

No Mossad intelligence operations conducted within the U.S.? Not according to the U.S. intelligence expert who was interviewed as an anonymous source in the September 3, 1979 issue of Newsweek.(2) When asked about Mossad’s activities in the U.S., he replied, “They have penetrations all through the U.S. government. They do better than the KGB.” The Newsweek article then continued:

“With the help of Jews in and out of government, Mossad looks for any softening in U.S. support [for Israel] and tries to get any technical intelligence the administration is unwilling to give to Israel.

“‘Mossad can go to any distinguished American Jew and ask for his help,’ says a former CIA agent. The appeal is a simple one: ‘When the call went out and no one heeded it, the Holocaust resulted.’

“The U.S. [government] tolerates Mossad’s operations on American soil partly because of reluctance to anger the American Jewish community.”

A 1979 CIA report “Israel: Foreign Intelligence and Security Services”(3) describes Mossad’s general mission, objectives, and methods of operation:

“In carrying out its mission to collect positive intelligence, the principal function of Mossad is to conduct agent operations against the Arab nations and their official representatives and installations throughout the world, particularly in Western Europe and the United States....

“Objectives in Western countries are equally important (as in the U.S.S.R. and East Europe) to the Israeli intelligence service. Mossad collects intelligence regarding Western, Vatican and U.N. policies toward the Near East; promotes arms deals for the benefit of the IDF, and acquires data for silencing anti-Israel factions in the West.

“In addition to the large-scale acquisition of published scientific papers and technical journals from all over the world through overt channels, the Israelis devote a considerable portion of their covert operations to obtaining scientific and technical intelligence. This has included attempts to penetrate certain classified defense projects in the U.S. and other Western nations.”

Under the section ‘Methods of Operation’ the CIA booklet continues:

“Mossad over the years has enjoyed some rapport with highly-placed persons and government offices in every country of importance to Israel. Within Jewish communities in almost every country of the world, there are Zionists and other sympathizers who render strong support to the Israeli intelligence effort. Such contacts are carefully nurtured and serve as channels for information, deception material, propaganda, and other purposes ... Mossad activities are generally conducted through Israeli official and semi-official establishments.

“The Israeli intelligence service depends heavily on the various Jewish communities and organizations abroad for recruiting agents and eliciting general information. The aggressively ideological nature of Zionism, which emphasizes that all Jews belong to Israel and must return to Israel, has had its drawbacks in enlisting support for intelligence operations, however, since there is considerable opposition to Zionism among Jews throughout the world.

“Aware of this fact, Israeli intelligence representatives usually operate discreetly within Jewish communities and are under instructions to handle their missions with utmost tact to avoid embarrassment to Israel. They also attempt to penetrate anti-Zionist elements in order to neutralize the opposition.”

The Sayanim System
The usage of ‘deputized’ agents and operatives working for Mossad from within the world’s Jewish communities has allowed the state of Israel to essentially operate a highly effective, and completely compartmentalized international intelligence agency on a shoestring budget. They essentially con otherwise good Jews into working for them purely out of a “nationalistic love and devotion” to the material, Zionist idol of “Israel.” As former Mossad katsa Victor Ostrovsky has explained in his book By Way of Deception, many sayanim (‘helpers’, ‘assistants’; sing., sayan, ‘helper’, ‘assistant’) work for free or next to nothing, like members of a brainwashed religio-national cult. On large, significant operations, however, some of these sayanim, like Larry Silverstein and friends, will work for both the cause of “the mother country,” as well as for big, one-time payoffs in the range of $9 billion in cash from massive insurance fraud, and acts of national treason and mass murder. This system of using Jews as ‘volunteer agents’ and agents provocateurs of Mossad who work from within their own countries on behalf of Israel actually has its origins in a legally legislated law passed by the Knesset in Israel, and this law has been on the books since 1952.

It was in 1948 that the concept of “the Jewish people” came into official legislated, legal form as the Israeli Law of Return and the Nationality Act, which granted “every Jew” certain inalienable rights. Several years later, in 1952 the Status Law was enacted by the Israeli Parliament. This law actually assigned tasks and duties for loyal Zionists in Israel and throughout the world to perform as quasi-governmental agents of the state of Israel. In 1954, these “tasks” were more highly defined in a signed “Covenant” between the state of Israel and the World Zionist Organization (WZO). The ‘Statute’ and ‘Covenant’ legally deputizes the WZO to act on behalf of the state of Israel beyond its boundaries and to be able to do things outside of Israel’s boundaries that Israel as a state cannot or may not do. This includes “tasks” such as the exertion of political pressure on a foreign government, financing and recruiting for mass emigrations to Israel, and conducting or directing propaganda and disinformation campaigns on behalf of Israel during times of “crisis” or “war.”(4)

So now you know. Under the 1952 Israeli Status Law and its 1954 Israel-WZO Covenant, it was actually the legal duty of Israeli dual nationals such as Paul Wolfowitz and his neo-con-artist friends to sell out America’s interests, lives, and cash for the Near Eastern colonial and genocidal agendas of Israel. They were only following orders and being good Israelis. Yada-yada-yada... 1.5 million dead Iraqis, 4,000 dead GIs, etc., etc. What’s a little genocide among friends, eh.

Of 9/11 note: Both Dov Zakheim and Philip Zelikow are intimately connected to the ZOA (Zionist Organization of America), an American subsidiary of the WZO (World Zionist Organization). America was attacked on 9/11 because they were just “doing their duty,” and fulfilling their responsibilities to the “homeland” under the 1952 Israeli Status Law and Israel-WZO ‘Covenant’ of 1954.

Why, “Rabbi” Dov used to have big ZOA picnics out on the Pentagon lawn in the summer (I seriously kid you not, Google it.).
