really, it's that double standard that gets me. the holocaust was just SO horrible and terrible that... that... well, nothing. we'll let similar things happen time and again.

the hypocrisy of the whole "save Darfur" campaign is sickening. here we are, persecuting an entire religion let alone the several races and all we can do is find someone else (who resembles our victims)who might be committing a similar crime on a smaller scale so that our kids can grow up idealistic without threatening the dominant paradigm.

If the holocaust had really happened the way they say then the behavior of the Israel lobby and the holocaust industry would be even more unforgivable than it is, because it would be tantamount to bleeding your own sacred dead for profit. I'd like to think that it is a more charitable explanation to suppose that they know full well the racket they have going on and that there are nowhere near 6 million souls looking down with disfavor on them--just a few remaining survivors being forced to live on dog food so that the myth can be promoted and the racist state of Israel defended with emotional blackmail.
