GNN's Continued Hostility Towards 9/11 Truth...Continues

'fundamental plank'???
The evidence for 9/11 Truth points to non-Muslims. My roommate tried to pull this on me. Somehow, because I see evidence that points to non-Muslims...it must mean I just don't give non-muslims the credit....I somehow believe they are incapable. In other words, inferior to others...like myself I guess.
Currently, this confirmed disinformationalist is adventuring around Pakistan on a Patsie Hunt. Yup, he's "Looking For Osama".

Since I first started coming back from my trips to the Muslim world, and specifically those shoots which involved time with dedicated Islamic militants, I began to come up against a fundamental plank in the 9/11 truth movement. And that is that the Muslim jihadists are little more than a prop in the grand plan of the NWO plotters. This is my response to that perspective.
The first time I experienced this perspective was before an interview with Alex Jones. The producer wanted to talk about GNN’s Aftermath video and so we were getting logistics figured out for the show. We started making small talk and he asked me what I had been up to recently. I told him about HolyWars and he kind of blurted out some statement to the effect that he didn’t really think there were jihadists out there, at least none who could actually pull off any operations against the US.
Of course, I realized, the entire theory of 9/11 as an inside job is predicated on the belief that they couldn’t (oh yea...but of course Shillverback). That it simply had to be the work of intel insiders and that these black flag operators had conjured up the entire image of a jihadist culture that was not only willing to attack the US, but capable of it.
I wasn’t sure how deep I wanted to get into it with the guy. I mean, we were just supposed to be making quick plans. But when I told him where I’d been for the past year and a half… and with whom, he was kind of dumbstruck. I had met many very dedicated, very smart, very angry warrior Muslims in countries like Lebanon, Indonesia, Pakistan and London. And they were sure that it was a Muslim force that did the operation. Now, I know as well as you do that there are insanely obvious inconsistencies and anomalies in the official version of 9/11. I have no problem saying that. Anthony and I dedicated 2 chapters in True Lies to this very issue. But this idea that Muslims were merely a stage prop in the grand illusion of 9/11 is not only ignorant but also highly insulting to them.
And this is something many of them have told me as I traveled. They had heard of the conspiracy theories and, to them, it was all so typical. Americans have been destroying their culture and fucking with their political systems for decades… and now, when the Muslims fight back, they assume that they are so incompetent and facile that it was the Americans who had to do it for them. when I first heard someone say that to me, I was so struck by the ethnocentrism of the conspiracy theory. Again, not saying that it can’t be true, but just how it must look from their POV. We’re so self-centered. it’s always about us!
When I told the Alex Jones producer that I believed that our legacy in the Muslim world had tangible angered enough Muslims that there were definitely hundreds and thousands of them willing to die for the cause, and at least 19 ready to fly whatever they could into whatever building they could reach, he just couldn’t buy it. They all had to be some fiction. It was so inane. I privately wondered if he had ever been outside to the US, or, more critically, to any Muslim countries. I suddenly understood the reason why Chomsky was so anti-conspiracy theory. Not that I agree with him, but I understand now. They make you kind of immune to the geo-political realities… to the very real anger and frustration that exists in the world. That drives people to terrorism.
So there is this whole strain of thought now, that I come up against from time to time, which almost cannot accept, and must negate, my experience on the ground with the jihadis… because they’re supposed to be inept, cardboard cut-outs merely existent to facilitate the black flag ops that got us into Iraq.
Nothing could be further from reality. And that’s why I am pretty sure now that the truth about 9/11 lies somewhere in between… that yes there were inside elements working to ensure that the op went smoothly and gave license for all that has come in its wake. But there is also a Muslim side to the equation and until the 911 “truth†movement takes that into account… that there are millions of Muslims angry enough, ready enough, able enough to execute these kinds of operations… and imputes that into the formula, they will always be walking around trying to sell a half-baked cake.
