This is just one example from a couple of years ago, when LIHOP stars like Sibel Edmonds, Jon Gold, and the makers of Press for Truth were all coming together to help Richard Clarke spread disinformation on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of 9/11. Apparently the fake truthers realized Clarke as a truther was a hard sell, so they have turned on him. Now the strategy is to treat his claims about the CIA as Clarke's way of covering his own ass, since lo and behold it was *he* who helped the evil Muslims atack us--it is he, in other words, who Let It Happen On Purpose. No matter how many times they rewrap LIHOP, it is still the same old tired crap. I like that you didn’t give the Commissioners a pass. Neither have I… they should have been jumping up and down and screaming from the rooftops if they saw a problem.

The thing about the Commissioners is… as a useful tool… it’s very useful to be able to say something like, “even the 9/11 Commissioners say…” Because that helps to let it sink in for people. But yes… Tom Kean and Lee Hamilton have done so many horrible things over the years, they don’t get a pass. Look at Tom Kean being associated with ABC’s “Path To 9/11? as a for instance.

The thing about the “timing” of the release of Clarke’s interview. It has to be understood that he first wrote about this in 2008. 3 years ago. Then Ray and John interviewed him in 2009 for a documentary they were working on. That’s 2 years ago. They originally released the Clarke interview at the Treason In America conference in March 2010. That’s a year and a half ago. They couldn’t get the funding for their documentary, so they’re putting it forward now as they can… which is in the form of an audiocast. It’s Ray and John that are essentially putting it forward now for free, and Clarke really has no “say” on when it was released.

By the way… I had no idea Richard Clarke wrote a book with this information until just recently. Apparently, the “media” didn’t know about it either.
