Are you using your ISPs DNS servers picked up by DHCP? If so, you could try and define your own. Usually, the DNS entries for a router can be modified. Same as the DNS entries for your ehternet adapter. These have served me well and are easy to remember:

dns1 4.2.2.2
dns2 4.2.2.3

If you are using Winders XP/2K, try flushing your DNS resolver cache. Run the following at a command prompt:

ipconfig /flushdns
