EXHIBIT C
The Inadequacy of the "Conspiracy Debunkers"
Self proclaimed "debunking" sites that claim to explain away as myths the facts discussed on this site and in books and scientific papers by independent 9/11 researchers like Professors Steven Jones and David Ray Griffin, go out of their way to either deny the existence of this molten steel or to claim that it is otherwise insignificant.
You'll notice on these sites that the magazine Popular Mechanics is relied on heavily, as is the book they published on the so-called myths of 9/11. If it is not suspicious enough that shortly before publishing their first article on 9/11 the editorial board of Popular Mechanics was sacked and replaced with, among others, Benjamin Chertoff, a cousin of Bush-appointed director of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, then a look at a single page of their book will be enough to prove that their work is exceedingly dishonest.
The claim that because the fires under the rubble were not exposed to the cooling effect of open air they could get hotter and hotter to the point of melting the steel is patently absurd and yet it is included in this supposedly authoritative book.
The authors cite no less than three "experts" as believing this to be a plausible explanation for the presence of molten steel, yet understandably do not name them.
